Alongside its new nova 14 smartphones, HUAWEI Malaysia also introduced its latest True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i. These earbuds are aimed at bringing pro-level audio features, like advanced noise cancellation and spatial audio, to a more accessible, everyday price point.
The headline feature for the FreeBuds 7i is its Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0. Huawei claims this new system can deliver deep noise cancellation up to 55 dB, which is a very strong number for this segment, designed to create an uninterrupted listening experience in any environment. This is paired with Unlimited Spatial Audio to deliver a more immersive, high-fidelity sound.
Powering that sound is an 11 mm quad-magnet dynamic driver. This hardware provides the foundation for high-resolution audio, and for those who like to tinker, the system supports a 10-band EQ adjustment to fine-tune the sound profile.
Call quality is also a key focus. The earbuds use a combination of AI-powered noise reduction and a bone conduction microphone. This setup is designed to effectively separate the user’s voice from ambient noise, ensuring clearer, more stable calls even in bustling surroundings.
For practical daily use, the FreeBuds 7i also support dual-device connectivity, allowing for effortless switching between a phone and a laptop or tablet10.

The HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i is priced at RM329. It is available in three Morandi-inspired colours: Pink, White, and Black.
