Fujifilm Malaysia has officially refreshed its popular mid-range lineup with the launch of the X-T30 III. The camera continues the company’s philosophy of packing professional performance into a body that doesn’t weigh you down at an affordable price.
For long-time fans of the series, the X-T30 III will feel immediately familiar, retaining the compact dimensions and retro design of its predecessor, the X-T30 II. Weighing in at just 378g, it remains an ideal travel companion. However, the significant changes are internal. While the camera utilises the proven 26.1MP back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor, it is now paired with the latest high-speed X-Processor 5.
This processor upgrade is crucial for daily use. It delivers twice the image-processing speed of the previous model, directly impacting autofocus performance. The X-T30 III features AI-powered subject detection autofocus based on deep learning. This allows the camera to reliably track a much wider variety of subjects beyond faces and eyes, including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, and even drones.
On the video front, the X-T30 III is surprisingly capable for its size. It creates high-quality 4K/60P video by oversampling from 6.2K. It also supports 1080/240P for slow-motion and offers 4:2:2 10-bit internal output, which provides significant flexibility for colour grading. To aid handheld shooting, Fujifilm has incorporated digital image stabilisation to minimise camera shake.
The most visible physical update is the introduction of the Film Simulation Dial on the top plate, a feature first seen on the X-T50 and X-M5. This allows users to physically toggle between 20 different film looks, including the popular REALA ACE and NOSTALGIC Neg. For those who love customizing their “film recipes,” the dial includes three custom positions (FS1–FS3) to store personalised settings.
Despite the performance boost, power efficiency has been improved, with the camera now rated for up to 425 frames per charge. Other usability features include a 1.62-million-dot tilting LCD monitor and a built-in pop-up flash.

Pricing and Availability
The Fujifilm X-T30 III will be available at authorized retailers and official online stores starting 24 November 2025 for the body, while the kit version arrives on 5 December 2025. The camera comes in Silver, Black, and Charcoal Silver.
The Fujifilm X-T30 III will be available in two configurations off the bat. The Body Only config comes in at RM4,248 while the Fujifilm X-T30 III Kit (with XC13-33mm F3.5-6.3 OIS Lens) is priced at RM4,898.
