Under the “Moto Things” banner, the brand is pushing hard to build a cohesive ecosystem that rivals the big players. This isn’t just about slapping a logo on generic gadgets; the new lineup features high-profile partnerships with Bose and Polar, along with genuine utility driven by Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology.
Moto Watch Powered by Polar
The most intriguing addition is the new Moto Watch. Rather than trying to fight the WearOS battery battle, Motorola has opted for a custom OS that delivers a claimed 13 days of battery life (or 7 days with the Always-On Display active). The hardware is premium, featuring a 47mm aluminium case with a stainless steel crown and a crisp 1.43-inch OLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
However, the real story here is the software. For the first time, Motorola has partnered with Polar to integrate the fitness brand’s renowned algorithms directly into the watch. This means users get access to “Nightly Recharge” recovery measurements and “Smart Calories” tracking—metrics that are widely respected in the athletic community for their accuracy. It also features dual-frequency GPS for precise run tracking without a phone. By skipping the heavy app store integration of WearOS, Motorola is positioning this as a focused health tool that doesn’t need to be charged every night.
Moto Sound Flow: Audio that Follows You
The Moto Sound Flow is a portable speaker that wants to be smarter than the average Bluetooth box. Tuned by Bose, it packs a 30W output with a dedicated woofer and tweeter configuration to ensure clarity even at higher volumes. It is built for versatility, supporting both Wi-Fi (AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect) for high-fidelity home listening and Bluetooth 5.0 for outdoor trips.
The standout feature is the integration of UWB technology. If you have a compatible UWB-enabled Motorola phone, the speaker can perform “Room Shift,” automatically transferring audio to the nearest speaker as you move through your house. It also supports “Dynamic Stereo,” where two speakers will adjust their left and right channels based on where your phone is positioned in the room. It is a level of spatial awareness rarely seen in this segment. The device is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance and offers 12 hours of playback, with a charging dock included to keep it topped up when not in use.
Moto Tag 2: Precision Tracking
Updating its tracker lineup, the Moto Tag 2 brings significant improvements to longevity and durability. The battery life has been boosted to over 500 days using a standard, replaceable CR2032 coin cell. Durability also sees a bump to IP68, meaning it can withstand submersion in water, making it far more resilient than its predecessor.
Technologically, it leverages Bluetooth 6.0 with “Channel Sounding” and UWB to offer precise, compass-style directional finding for compatible Android devices. It taps into Google’s Find My Device network, ensuring that lost items can be located by the billion-plus Android devices in the wild. A dedicated button on the tag allows you to ring your misplaced phone (even on silent) or acts as a remote camera shutter for group photos.
Moto Pen Ultra: The Creator’s Wand
Designed specifically for the new RAZR Fold and Signature devices, the Moto Pen Ultra is an active stylus built for the mobile-first creator. It supports pressure sensitivity and tilt detection, allowing for natural shading and line variation when sketching. The “Smart Clip” feature lets users instantly capture and annotate screenshots, while “Sketch-to-Image” utilizes on-device AI to turn rough doodles into polished graphics. It ships with a charging case that ensures the pen remains powered for a full day of work.
