Samsung has officially launched its new 2025 Sound Tower lineup in Malaysia, bringing two new models, the MX-ST50F and MX-ST40F, to the market. These speakers are built from the ground up for parties, combining powerful sound, integrated lighting, and long battery life in a portable, splash-proof design.
Next-Level Sound and Immersive Lights
The core of the new Sound Tower series is its refined acoustic design. Samsung states this allows the speakers to project sound evenly in every direction, creating an immersive experience whether you’re indoors or hosting a barbecue outdoors. This is paired with deep, punchy bass to ensure the beat is “heard and felt”.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a party speaker without lights. The Sound Towers feature Party Lights+, a system of dynamic lights that groove and sync to the beat of the music, creating a “vivid, multisensory experience” to energize the space.
Smarter Features and Connectivity
Beyond just playing music, the Sound Towers are designed for interactive use. The Samsung Sound Tower App gives users control over a range of features, including a DJ Booth, Karaoke Mode, and various real-time sound effects. This, combined with the free microphones offered in the launch promo, makes them an all-in-one karaoke solution.
For larger events, the speakers support Group Play via Auracast. This new technology allows multiple Sound Towers to connect for a much broader and more dynamic soundstage. They also support True Wireless Stereo (TWS) for a simpler stereo pairing.
Two Models: ST50F and ST40F
The 2025 lineup is launching with two distinct models, differing in power, driver size, and battery life.
The flagship MX-ST50F is the powerhouse, unleashing 240W of output. This power is driven by a pair of 6.5-inch Dual Woofers and 25mm Dual Dome Tweeters. It also packs the larger battery, offering up to 18 hours of playtime on a single charge.
For those who prioritise portability, the MX-ST40F offers 160W of power from its 5.25-inch Dual Woofers and 20mm Dual Dome Tweeters. This model provides up to 12 hours of nonstop playtime.
Both models are built for real-world party use. They are IPX4 splash-resistant, making them safe for poolside fun, and feature integrated handles to make them easy to move around.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Sound Tower 2025 lineup is available nationwide now. As part of a nationwide launch promotion, Samsung is offering special prices and free gifts from 3 November to 30 November 2025, while stocks last.
The Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST50F is priced at RM2,599. However, Samsung is having a special introductory offer at RM2,399. Together with this promo price, early purchasers will also get 2 units of Shure SV200 Dynamic Vocal Microphone (worth a total of RM362).
The Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST40F is priced at RM1,699 but will be on an introductory price of RM1,499 with a free Shure SV200 Dynamic Vocal Microphone (worth RM181).
