We’ve all been there: juggling multiple devices, each with its own warranty and service plan, trying to keep track of coverage for our iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and more. It can get complicated and messy. Now, Apple is looking to simplify that experience with the introduction of AppleCare One, a new service that bundles all your Apple device coverage into a single, streamlined plan. This isn’t just about a new product; it’s a new approach to protecting your digital life.

AppleCare One is a unified subscription service that consolidates all your AppleCare coverage into one plan, regardless of how many devices you own. The service covers everything from your iPhone to your Mac and even your Apple Watch, making it a one-stop solution for all your Apple device protection needs. The goal is to provide a single, straightforward experience, eliminating the need to manage multiple individual plans with different renewal dates and terms. The service also expands theft and loss protection to the iPad and Apple Watch, a benefit that was previously only offered for the iPhone.
So, how does it work? With AppleCare One, customers can choose a single plan to cover up to three devices for a flat monthly fee of $19.99 (RM85). For any other gadgets, you’d pay a flat $5.99 (RM25.47) per month per additional device. This is a significant change from the regular AppleCare+ plans, where pricing varies dramatically depending on the specific device model. This new plan is designed to save customers money, with Apple claiming that a customer who enrols in an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch plan could save up to $11 (RM46.78)per month compared to purchasing separate AppleCare+ plans for each device. The plan also allows you to add devices you already own, as long as they are up to four years old and in good condition.

The main benefit for customers is the sheer simplicity and peace of mind it offers. Instead of tracking multiple plans, you now have a single, predictable monthly payment for all your devices. It’s a move that aligns with Apple’s ecosystem-first philosophy, making it easier than ever for users to stay within their system and keep all their gadgets protected. It’s a smart and customer-friendly change that could be a game-changer for anyone with a house full of Apple gear.
At the time of writing, it seems like the service is exclusive to the United States. It isn’t available to Malaysian or Singaporean customers just yet. Instead, Apple is still offering AppleCare+, which allows you to purchase extended warranties for your products on a product-by-product basis with prices starting at RM79.
