Under the hood, the Galaxy A07 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 (6nm) processor. This chip brings 5G connectivity to the table, ensuring you aren’t left behind as networks speed up. It is paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, depending on the variant you choose.
However, the real headline is the battery. Samsung has fitted this device with a massive 6,000mAh battery—a 20% increase over its predecessor. Combined with the efficient processor, this should comfortably deliver multi-day usage for the average user. When you do need to top up, it supports 25W fast charging.
Cameras and Software
For photography, the phone relies on a 50MP main camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. It is a straightforward setup that prioritizes a solid main shooter over low-quality gimmicks. On the front, an 8MP camera handles selfies and video calls.
Perhaps the most surprising “flagship” feature is the software support. The Galaxy A07 5G ships with One UI 8.0 based on Android 16 and comes with a guarantee of six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. This level of long-term support is virtually unheard of in this price segment, meaning your phone will stay secure and current well into the 2030s.
It also brings AI features down to the entry level. Users get access to Google Gemini for intelligent assistance and Circle to Search, allowing you to search for items just by circling them on your screen—features that were headline news on the S24 series just two years ago.

The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G is available in Malaysia starting from 30 January 2026. It comes in three colour options: Light Green, Light Violet, and Black. The smartphone is available from official retailers, Shopee, Lazada and Samsung’s Website. It will be available in 2 variants:
- 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage: RM699
- 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage: RM949
From now until 28 February 2026, the 8GB+256GB variant is available with a RM250 rebate, bringing its price down to RM699—effectively giving you the higher spec for the price of the base model.
