PRISM+ Luna comes with a standard 2-year warranty on the indoor unit and a generous 5-year warranty on the outdoor unit. They’re even rolling out in-house servicing, integrated with their smart home app, starting with Klang Valley residents.

The Aura is built for spaces of about 182 square feet. That’s about the size of your living- or bedroom in an apartment. The cute, compact design allows you to seamlessly integrate the Aura into your space without much hassle. It’s also got the cutest way of indicating the air quality of your room with a smiley face for safe levels and an upset on when levels are unhealthy.

PRISM+’s smart home ecosystem is unified through the PRISM+ Connect smartphone app. This user-friendly app allows remote control and monitoring of your Luna and Aura devices.

It also allows you to set up routines on the Luna air-conditioner to fit your day-to-day life and ensures you have a cool room when you’re back home to relax. This is augmented by the sensor-assisted cooling that allows you to automate your cooling based on the ambient temperature of your room. If that’s not enough, you’ll also be able to get geofences and signal the Luna to start cooling when you’re a fixed distance away from your home.

Together with these features, the app will also allow you to simplify setup and settings sharing with clone settings. This allows you to pair your appliances with a single smartphone and share it with your family members or housemates. You’ll even be able to schedule service appointments for the Luna through the app.

Of course, the app is not just centred on the PRISM+ Luna, the Aura air purifier also gets some features including routines and clone settings. However, you’ll be able to better monitor your usage on both the Aura and Luna with Insights which will allow you to visualise appliance usage and energy efficiency.

PRISM+ Luna users will receive a standard two-year warranty on their air conditioners. Additionally, users can opt for quarterly servicing through PRISM+, with the option of a pay-per-use or subscription plan. Choosing this service automatically extends the warranty to a full seven years on both indoor and outdoor units. Competitive servicing prices include free gas top-ups and bi-annual filter replacements.

The PRISM+ Luna will be available in two versions. The 1HP version will be priced at RM999 while the 1.5HP version will be priced at RM1299. The Luna is available for pre-order starting on 1st May until 15 May 2024. Early birds can snag the Luna at an attractive pre-order price starting from just RM799 for the 1HP option and RM1099 for the 1.5HP version. It will also be available via Shopee and Lazada.

This compact and energy-efficient Aura will be available in Alpine White and Space Grey finishes. It will be launching on May 1st for RM379 (Alpine White) and RM399 (Space Grey). It will also be available through Shopee and Lazada.

Acerpure Pro P3 Brings HEPA Filters with UV-C for Cleaner Indoor Air

Acer’s foray into lifestyle and appliances gets even more extensive with a brand-new addition to the company’s air purifier portfolio. The new Acerpure Pro P3 Air Purifier ups the ante with more robust features and better purifying technology. It’s also bringing a mix advanced technology and smart features paired with elegant design.

The new Acerpure Pro P3 is the company’s most robust air purifier yet. It uses the new HEPA13 four-layer protection system. The HEPA 13 standard of filtration filters out microbes and particles that 0.2microns in diameter – that’s about 1/10 the diameter or thickness of a human hair. Paired with UV-C light, the purifier should be able to only do away with harmful microbes, but also eliminate odours that can occur in air purifiers.

The Pro P3 also comes equipped with a PM2.5 sensor which allows it to detect particles in the air as fine as 2.5 microns. This sensor is complemented by a Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) sensor that measures the air for harmful gases and vapours. It can also measure real-time CO2 levels, a first for Acerpure’s air purifier line up. Both VOC and real-time CO2 are important indicators of indoor air quality and indoor pollution.

These levels can be monitored via the Acerpure Life application. Even if there are high levels of VOCs or CO2 the Acerpure Pro P3 will be able to purify the air quickly with its 700cmh CADR. It can cover spaces of up to 110m2 effortlessly making it suited for spacious living rooms, bedrooms or open offices. It’s silent 24dB sound levels will also ensure that it doesn’t add to the noise levels of your space, keeping it serene and calm. It’s also energy efficient with a DC motor that allows it conserve energy while pushing through more air than AC motors.

Acer’s Vero brand is really branching out this year. The company has already announced a projector with the Vero brand. Now, the Vero brand is making its debut on Acerpure products. Acerpure made its debut not too long ago and bullodzed Acer into the home and living space. So far, the sub-brand has been used primarily for air-purifiers, air circulators and fans.

With the Acerpure Pro Vero, Acer is making its most capable air purifier a tad bit more environmentally friendly by adopting the same technology used to make its Vero laptops. The Acerpure Pro Vero has a chassis made of 35% post consumer recycled (PCR) plastics. The adoption of these plastics has helped decrease the carbon footprint of owning an Acerpure Pro.

Aside from this, the Acerpro Pro Vero comes with a simple, modern design that allows it to blend in seamlessly into your home. It’s equipped with a PM 2.5 air quality sensor which detects suspended particles in the air. It uses this information to automatically adjust the setting of the Acerpure Pro system in “Green mode”. The DC motor allows for more efficient use of energy when it comes to operating the Acerpure Pro.

The hallmark feature of the Acerpure Pro is the 3-in-1 HEPA filtration system. This system is able to filter out 99.9% of PM2.5 particles and is able to reduce the concentration of allergens in your room and home. Acer Malaysia Brings Fresh Air with acerpure Cool in Malaysia

Announced late last year, the acerpure line up is bringing Acer into a new segment all together. The new line up comes at an opportune time as Malaysia has just extended its second MCO (Movement Control Order) for a further 2-weeks ending on 14th February. With the pandemic occurring the world over and Malaysians being mandated to spend more time at home, the issue of indoor air quality is becoming an increasing concern.

Acer’s acerpure Cool is looking to address that issue with cutting edge technologies that help purify and circulate indoor air more readily. The acerpure cool comes with a 3-in-1 HEPA filter which includes a pre-filter, activated carbon filter and a HEPA 13 main filter. This helps trap, eliminate and filter impurities in the air. The HEPA filter also traps up to 99.7% of particles as small as 0.3μm. In addition, the acerpure cool filters are silver ion (Ag+) coated filters which have been verified by third party labs to eliminate bacteria and mitigate H1N1 activity.

The air purifier has a simple, modern design which comes with an LED touch panel complete with child safety locks. It is able to give real time readings of indoor air quality with the built-in PM1.0 air quality sensor. Readings are indicated with a green, yellow and red LED indicator light corresponding to the density of particulate matter in the air. The acerpure cool will intelligently adjust its settings as the air quality changes to ensure that the overall room air quality remains intact. It is able to cool a 27m2 room in three minutes and functions silently (as low as 26dB).

The acerpure cool is available starting on 5 February 2021 for MYR1,299 (USD$320.07) in dark grey and moon white.

Acer will be having a special introductory offer where the acerpure cool will be retailing MYR899 (USD$221.51) with an additional HEPA filter worth MYR199 (USD$49.03). The offer will be happening on LAZADA on 5 February 2021. After the one day promotion, the air purifier will be retailing at MYR999 (USD$246.22) with a free HEPA filter replacement worth MYR199 (USD$49.03) from February 6 to February 9 2021.

The current pandemic has led to an increase of people working from home. With this increase, there has also been an increase in the awareness in the importance of having good air circulation and good quality air. Acer, realising this, has introduced a new subsidiary, AcerPure Inc, which will focus on creating products that will improve the quality of life of their users. Their first product is an air purifier and fan, or as they put it, air mobiliser.

The AcerPure Cool focuses on moving and purifying air within a room. Studies have shown that indoor air isn’t as clean as we think it is. Still or stale air can also be a contributing factor to falling sick. With this in mind, Acerpure has created the Cool to both purify and move air for better air quality. The product marries a air purifier with an air circulator and a fan.

It comes equipped with a 3-in-1 HEPA filter which helps filter fine particles and impurities in the air. The filter is combined with catalytic carbon, a special form of activated carbon, which allows it to filter PM1.0 particulate matter; that is to say particles of about 1.0μm in size. Some of the things that can be effectively removed are dust particles and large molecules like formaldehyde and other harmful hydrocarbons. The air purifier of the AcerPure Cool also comes with a Silver ion (Ag+) filter which has been proven to provide some antimicrobial protection. You also see this technology being used in air-conditioners.

The fan component of the AcerPure Cool helps circulate and project the purified air. It has enough power to project air up to 16m away and circulate the air in a 27m2 room in 3 minutes – something that will undoubtedly be appreciated in warmer climates.

Of course, the tech doesn’t just end there. The AcerPure Cool comes with a PM1.0 Air Quality sensor which enables it to detect the real-time indoor air quality. This reading is displayed via 3 LED indicator lights. With this data, the air purifier intelligently adjusts its operation mode to ensure better purification of the room. Apparently, the Cool also has a deodourising component which releases negative ions to help combat foul odours. It goes without saying, the deodourising of the AcerPure Cool will not deodourise if the source of the odour is still in the room.

The AcerPure Cool will be available in Taiwan, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. No pricing has been announced just yet and launch windows will be announced at a later date.
