Walking into a telecommunications store usually means you are there to pay a bill, upgrade a mobile plan, or sort out a network issue. CelcomDigi is actively working to fundamentally change that routine interaction. In a major push to modernise its physical retail presence, the company has officially teamed up with Samsung Malaysia to roll out an innovative new concept dubbed the ‘Endless Aisle’. This initiative marks a significant shift in how digital lifestyle products are presented to consumers, effectively turning standard telco outlets into comprehensive consumer electronics hubs.

The concept essentially digitises and vastly expands the traditional in-store inventory. Instead of simply browsing a limited selection of dummy smartphones tethered to a desk, customers interact with an immersive digital platform that opens up a massive hardware catalogue. Originally tested as a highly localised pilot program at the flagship CelcomDigi Store Life locations within The Gardens Mall and Sunway Pyramid, the Endless Aisle has now graduated to a full-scale, nationwide rollout. The digital platform is currently live and fully accessible across more than three hundred standard CelcomDigi Store and CelcomDigi Express outlets across the country.
What makes this collaboration with Samsung particularly practical for the average consumer is the sheer breadth of the hardware available on the platform. The Endless Aisle does not just focus on mobile phones; it offers direct, streamlined access to Samsung’s much wider technology ecosystem, encompassing smart televisions, home appliances, wearables, and various other lifestyle electronics. The primary advantage here is the reduction of retail friction. A customer can walk into their local neighbourhood CelcomDigi outlet, browse a wide array of smart home devices, purchase them, and have the company’s in-store experts immediately help set up and seamlessly connect the new hardware all within a single visit.

This strategic move highlights a broader industry trend where physical retail spaces are adapting to become more experiential and integrated. Cheng Weng Hong, CelcomDigi’s Chief Sales and Retail Officer, noted that this specific initiative leverages their extensive physical network to make connected technology significantly more accessible to their massive user base of over twenty million Malaysians. By bridging the gap between a comprehensive digital catalogue and hands-on physical customer service, the telco is positioning itself not just as a network provider, but as a central facilitator for the modern smart home.
Naturally, driving consumer adoption for a brand-new retail concept requires immediate financial incentives. To encourage users to explore the Endless Aisle, CelcomDigi has baked several aggressive discounts directly into the platform. Existing customers, as well as new users who sign up for any standard mobile plan, are immediately eligible for a 15% discount on their product purchases. If a customer opts to commit to a specific CelcomDigi and Samsung device package, that hardware discount doubles to 30%. Furthermore, subscribers who are locked into the premium CelcomDigi ONE Plan will find even more exclusive promotional offers waiting for them when they browse the new digital kiosk.
