The AI PC race has officially moved from laptops to the desktop. Lenovo has just unveiled a new generation of its ThinkCentre neo desktop family, designed to bring the power of on-device AI to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
The headline feature is the inclusion of AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors, which pack a powerful integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with up to 50 TOPS of AI capability. This hardware makes them full-fledged Copilot+ PCs, capable of handling new and upcoming AI tasks directly on the machine without needing to rely entirely on the cloud.
Lenovo is launching this new AI power in three distinct form factors, each targeting a different need within the business environment: the ThinkCentre neo 55a Gen 6 (All-in-One), the ThinkCentre neo 55s Gen 6 (Small Form Factor), and the ThinkCentre neo 55q Gen 6 (Tiny).
What a Copilot+ Desktop Means for Work
The new AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series chip isn’t just about raw CPU speed; its NPU is a dedicated co-processor built specifically for AI. This unlocks unique Copilot+ PC experiences in Windows, such as improved search, “Click to Do,” and “Agent in Settings,” which help personalize and streamline the Windows 11 experience.
Lenovo is also adding its own layer of AI software. The new systems feature Lenovo AI Now, a personal, on-device AI assistant designed to help users locate files, summarize documents, and draft content. This is paired with Lenovo Smart Meeting Tools on the AIO model, which use AI for features like digital avatar creation, AI Noise Suppression, and Face & Group Tracking during video calls.

ThinkCentre neo 55a Gen 6: The Clutter-Free AIO
For offices that value a clean, “clutter-free” workspace or for shared reception areas, the All-in-One neo 55a Gen 6 is the ideal choice.
It’s built around a 23.8-inch FHD display that’s a step above typical office monitors, featuring a 100Hz refresh rate and 99% sRGB colour coverage for sharp, fluid visuals.
Inside, it pairs the AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor with up to 32GB of DDR5 memory and up to 1TB of SSD storage. For the modern hybrid workplace, it’s well-equipped with a 5MP camera, Harman-tuned Dolby audio, and an eShutter to physically block the camera for privacy.
ThinkCenter neo 55s Gen 6: The SFF Workhorse
For those who need more power and expandability than an AIO, the Small Form Factor (SFF) neo 55s Gen 6 is the workhorse of the group.
While it’s powered by the same AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor, its key advantage is support for optional discrete graphics. Businesses can configure it with either an AMD Radeon RX 6400 (4GB) or, for more demanding creative tasks, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 (6GB).
This, combined with support for up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and future-proof Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, makes it a highly capable and adaptable machine for multitasking and AI-driven workflows. It’s also built to be quiet, earning a TÜV Ultra Low noise certification.
ThinkCenter neo 55q Gen 6: The Tiny Powerhouse
The neo 55q Gen 6 is a prime example of “big AI in a tiny footprint”. This “Tiny” desktop is incredibly compact, measuring just 7.2 inches long and weighing around 1.13 kg. It’s small enough to be hidden behind a monitor or deployed in nearly any location without compromising on performance.
Despite its petite size, it’s a multitasking dream. It runs the same powerful AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor, can be configured with up to 64GB of DDR5 memory, and holds up to 2TB of SSD storage.
Its true superpower is connectivity: it supports up to three 4K monitors simultaneously. It also features Wi-Fi 7 and has the option for an extra Punch-out Port, allowing businesses to add legacy ports like VGA or COM if needed.
Security and Support for Businesses
As these are business-focused machines, they all come with Lenovo’s robust security and support services. This includes Lenovo ThinkShield, a comprehensive end-to-end security solution combining hardware and software, and a dTPM 2.0 chip for data encryption.
The desktops are also backed by Lenovo Premier Support Plus, which provides 24/7/365 direct access to expert technicians and specialized “AI-ready support” to help businesses adopt the new technology.
Pricing and Availability
Lenovo has announced initial availability for one of the new models in Malaysia.
The Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 55s Gen 6 (Small Form Factor) is available now. It is offered on a configure-to-order basis, with a starting price of RM3,500.
Pricing and availability for the ThinkCentre neo 55a Gen 6 (All-in-One) and the ThinkCentre neo 55q Gen 6 (Tiny) have not yet been announced for the Malaysian market.
