If someone attempts to pry open the bottom cover of the device, the system immediately triggers a tamper-evident alert. This posts a permanent warning message on the next boot screen that will not disappear until it is officially cleared by an authorised IT professional through the BIOS menu.
CB2 Series Vero Monitors
For days when you are anchored to a desk, a cramped laptop screen simply will not cut it. Acer’s new CB2 Series Vero monitors are designed to expand your digital real estate while maintaining a strict focus on environmental sustainability. Aligning with broader corporate ESG goals, the chassis of these monitors is constructed using up to 85% post-consumer recycled plastic and 5% ocean-bound plastic.
The series includes three distinct models tailored to different office workflows. For those who are constantly jumping into virtual meetings, the 23.8-inch CB242Y D6 integrates a 5MP webcam and a built-in microphone array directly into the top bezel. Finally, the standard 27-inch CB272 G provides a smooth 120Hz Full HD experience for everyday productivity. Both the new TravelMate laptops and the CB2 Series Vero monitors are available immediately through authorised Acer commercial resellers across Malaysia.
The monitor lineup remains highly accessible, with the CB242Y D6 priced at RM549, the CB272 G at RM649, and the premium 4K CB272K L2 retailing for RM999.
On the laptop front, the TravelMate P2 14 starts at RM5,699, while the slightly larger TravelMate P2 16 is priced at RM5,899. The premium, convertible TravelMate P4 Spin carries a recommended retail price of RM7,299. However, to celebrate the official launch, Acer is offering a limited-time early bird promotion. If you purchase before April 30, 2026, the TravelMate P2 14 drops to RM5,499, the P2 16 to RM5,699, and the flagship P4 Spin comes down to RM6,999.
