Skybox Security wins Best Vulnerability Management Solution.

"This award recognizes that Skybox stands alone as the only vulnerability and threat management solution that prioritizes vulnerabilities based on a combination of asset importance, CVSS score, exploitability, and advanced exposure analysis. We uniquely calculate exposure by conducting attack simulation across hybrid networks," said Gidi Cohen, CEO and founder, Skybox Security. "Fortune 1000 customers choose Skybox because we increase the accuracy of their vulnerability assessments, reduce mean time to remediation, and measure cyber exposure on a continuous basis."

Pioneering a new approach to vulnerability management

A new threat landscape requires a new approach to security posture management. Skybox Security evolved its platform to secure customers’ accelerated digital transformation initiatives such as cloud migration and IT/OT convergence. This year, Skybox delivered the world’s most advanced exposure analysis, which was made possible through its unique ability to model hybrid networks.

"Skybox offers a comprehensive three-dimensional digital model of the enterprise which simulates real-world attacks," said Steve Zurier, security journalist at SC Media. "With data collected from dozens of sources and its robust threat intelligence feed, Skybox runs as a true risk platform that automates workflow from discovery to targeted action, delivering accurate and customizable risk scores to focus teams on critical vulnerabilities, exploitable assets and the most effective remediation options."

Integrating with over 150 networking, security, cloud, and IT management solutions, the Vulnerability and Threat Management Solution automatically maps and visualizes the attack surface to reduce cybersecurity exposure continuously. Customers also receive a verified and up-to-the-minute contextualized threat intelligence in one consolidated source from the Skybox Research Lab.

"The product normalizes data from different vendors for easy analysis, examining it in the context of the attack surface, and automates assessment, prioritization, remediation planning and monitoring," added Zurier. "It matches vulnerabilities to network exposures, threats and potential business impacts of an exploit, while focusing resources on imminent threats. And it measures, tracks and demonstrates risk levels over time, while delivering visual, abstracted views of the attack surface to easily convey security status across teams and up the management chain."

Recognized as the gold standard of cybersecurity excellence

Now in its 25th year, 2021’s SC Awards were the most competitive yet. Winners of the Trust Award were chosen by a distinguished group of leading IT security professionals. Entrants were narrowed down to a select group of finalists before undergoing a rigorous final judging process to determine the winner of each category.

"Distinct challenges that emerged during the last year resulted in a diverse range of demands from the customer community. A pandemic drove employees home en masse; supply chain attacks left government agencies and businesses reeling; cybercriminals and enemy nation states banked on security gaps during unprecedented times, targeting home networks, healthcare organizations, and retailers, among many other organizations," said Jill Aitoro, editor in chief of SC Media. "Winners of our Trust Awards demonstrated remarkable resiliency, adapting to meet evolving requirements of customers."

Solid-state battery maker ProLogium receives another Edison Award

TAIPEI, April 23, 2021 — The 2021 Edison Awards gala was held in Fort Meyers, Florida on Thursday, April 22. Solid-state battery maker ProLogium has been awarded a bronze award. ProLogium has been selected as a finalist for the category of Critical Human Infrastructure. The three finalists in the subcategory are all outstanding examples of utilizing technology innovation as a means to promote safety and efficiency of electricity use. ProLogium is chosen for its proprietary ASM (Active Safety Mechanism) technology designed for battery safety. Winners are decided by the votes of 3,000 senior industry leaders, making the award a truly special honor.

Founded in 1987, the Edison Awards is an annual celebration of innovative technology highlighting excellent inventions for the betterment of human life. ProLogium is the only solid-state battery company in the world that has been recognized two times in the Awards’ over 100 years of history. Back in 2019, ProLogium won its first Edison Gold Award for its patented BiPolar+ technology. The BiPolar+ technology took solid-state battery performance to a whole new level, while the ASM technology guarantees absolute safety. This signifies another major step forward for the application of solid-state battery in EV cars.

Why did ProLogium want to develop the ASM technology for the market?

Absolute safety can only be achieved when battery safety is assured at the cell level. Unsafe cells can lead to the risk of thermal runaway even when the module is well protected. Solid-state battery is intrinsically safe because of its use of solid-state electrolyte. This means passive safety is guaranteed. However, when large quantities of electrodes and cells are densely packed and stacked, innovative technology is needed to enable active safety.

The ASM, or Active Safety Mechanism, is a technology developed by ProLogium that actively terminates the thermal runaway reaction and ensures the safety of battery cells. The ASM is unlike any other active safety mechanism that came before it. We have seen mechanisms using flame retardant to reduce combustion, or adding additives to slow down the electrochemistry and delay thermal runaway. However, these methods will inevitably hinder battery performance. That is why ProLogium decided to take a more fundamental approach and develop a mechanism that reduces energy and prevents thermal runaway.

"We believe that ASM is the only way to absolute safety for EV and ESS battery. With the ASM technology, we are able to fulfill our commitment to battery safety. We hope to combine the ASM with the MAB, ProLogium’s propriety modular technology, and introduce our battery module to the market, so that we can help automotive OEMs as well as customers with needs for large-capacity battery packs to optimize their product performance and eliminate any risk of fire or explosion. In other words, we can make truly safe battery with excellent mileage capacity and usher in a new era for solid-state battery." CEO of ProLogium, Vincent Yang said in an interview.

As stated by Martin Eberhard, cofounder, original CEO and chairman of Tesla, "ProLogium’s solid-state electrolyte battery technology is the most exciting new development I have seen in this field. The combination of safety, aging characteristics, fast charge rate, and bipolar packaging, all without sacrifice energy density, and at a competitive price, make ProLogium cells the best I have seen for automotive applications."

Furthermore, the monitor’s minimalistic stand and sleek design offer extra space on the desktop, further enhancing work efficiency for creators.

Future-proof and highly scalable, AIRSYS’ next-generation cooling infrastructure empowers telecom, data center, and data service organizations to reduce CAPEX and OPEX

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 19, 2021 — Based on its recent analysis of the global cooling solutions market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes AIRSYS Group Corp. (Airsys Global) with the 2020 Global Customer Value Leadership Award.

This award highlights the ability Airsys has in disrupting the market to provide an immense range of benefits to its customers. To reach this position, Airsys has combined groundbreaking technology with innovation, impacting the Customer’s purchase, ownership and service experience.

According to Yunshui Chen, global CEO at Airsys, "Airsys is proud to have received this award. It reflects our capability, through major investment in R&D, manufacturing excellence and our disruptive OneSolution customer strategy, to provide global Data Center and Telecom customers with better ways to address their current and future digital infrastructure challenges."

By monitoring aspects such as real-time compressor suction temperature and pressure, the EEVs can precisely control the superheat.

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to the company that has demonstrated excellence in implementing strategies that proactively create value for its customers with a focus on improving the return on the investment that customers make in its services or products. The award recognizes the company’s unique focus on augmenting the value that its customers receive, beyond simply good customer service, leading to improved customer retention and customer base expansion.

Frost & Sullivan Best Practices awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research to identify best practices in the industry.
