CelcomDigi has officially marked a major milestone in its post-merger journey with the launch of the new CelcomDigi app. The in-house developed application replaces the familiar Celcom Life and MyDigi apps. It will unify services for over 20 million customers into a single, intuitive, and secure digital touchpoint. It’s also a combination of the best features from the Celcom Life and MyDigi Apps.

The launch is the final and most critical piece in the unification of the Celcom and Digi brands. The unification of the brands is promising to deliver seamless, personalised digital experiences at scale. Acting Chief Executive Officer Albern Murty emphasised that the app is a representation of CelcomDigi’s commitment to being customer-obsessed, fusing the best of both previous platforms with new service features and integrated AI technology for support and security.
Built for Convenience, for Lifestyle, and to Delight
Shaped by insights from over 10 million customers and refined through feedback from 100,000 beta testers, the CelcomDigi app is designed around three key themes:
1. Everyday Convenience
This pillar focuses on eliminating common customer pain points. The Everything in one feature allows multiple lines and services to be managed seamlessly within a single interface, simplifying the often-complex process of handling family or business accounts. For prepaid customers, the Auto-Reload Magic feature ensures lines stay active and never run out of credit, guaranteeing uninterrupted usage.

2. Digital Lifestyle that’s Built-in at your fingertips
The app moves beyond basic call and data management to integrate value-added digital services directly into the experience. Users now have direct access to world-class streaming Entertainment options, including special rates for Disney+ and Viu. Travel is also simplified with Roaming pre-booking, ensuring connectivity is instant upon arrival at the destination. Furthermore, the app includes built-in Security features like biometric sign-in and eKYC to ensure safer access.
3. Creating Delightful Moments
The app enhances customer engagement with rewards and gamified features. Users can get Always-on help through AI-RA, the app’s AI-powered support system. For fun, features like the Daily Streak challenge customers over seven days to unlock rewards, while the 3-2-1 Surprise offers free rewards every Wednesday. The For You feature personalises the entire experience by using AI to learn customer habits and usage, delivering tailored suggestions instead of generic deals.
Digital Safety with MobileSHIELD
In response to the rise of scams and online fraud, CelcomDigi has integrated robust digital safety tools directly into the app. A dedicated Safety page provides practical tools and insights to protect users online, and scam incidents can be reported quickly with just a tap.

CelcomDigi is also including MobileSHIELD within the app for direct subscription, starting from just RM4/month. This affordable defence uses AI-powered protection against common threats:
- Scam Protection: Actively blocks fake websites, malicious links, and suspicious SMS, filtering threats in the background.
- ID Monitoring: Scans the web and dark web and instantly alerts users if their personal data (like emails or credit card details) has been leaked, allowing them to act fast.
- Device Protection: Detects and blocks malware and risky applications, even those sideloaded onto Android devices.
This proactive step ensures that powerful cybersecurity tools are accessible to everyday users, reinforcing CelcomDigi’s commitment to creating a secure digital environment.
Availability
The new CelcomDigi app is available for download now on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. A native app for the Huawei AppGallery is also being developed by the team at CelcomDigi. This will be released at a later date.
Customers currently using the old Celcom Life and MyDigi apps are encouraged to switch immediately. The standalone Celcom Life and MyDigi aps will be discontinued on 31 December 2025.
To celebrate the launch of the new CelcomDigi app, the telco is offering special rewards for customers that make the jump to the new app:
- 100GB Data Pass: A one-time high-speed data pass for only RM1, limited to the first 1 million purchases.
- Special Streaming Rates: Discounted monthly prices for entertainment add-ons, including Disney+ (Basic) at RM12.90/month, Disney+ (Premium) at RM27.90/month, and Viu at RM3.90/month.
- Free Roaming and IDD: Exclusive to postpaid customers, free roaming and IDD calls will be offered for 12 months.
