Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy Buds Core, a new pair of true wireless earbuds designed to be an accessible, go-to audio experience for the everyday user. Positioned as the most affordable option in Samsung’s Galaxy Buds lineup, the Galaxy Buds Core offers a strong set of features and capabilities that punch above their weight, proving that you don’t have to break the bank for solid sound and a reliable wireless experience.

These new earbuds are built with a focus on both sound performance and everyday practicality. They are engineered to provide a balanced audio experience, with clear trebles and a deep, well-tuned bass. One of the most notable features, especially for a product at this price point, is the inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which helps reduce ambient noise so you can fully immerse yourself in your music or podcasts. Call quality is also a key feature, with six microphones in total—three on each bud—that work in unison to capture your voice with precision for crystal-clear conversations.
The Galaxy Buds Core are also designed for comfort and durability. They weigh a light 5.3 grams each and feature silicone wingtips for a pressure-free, secure fit that stays in place whether you’re relaxing at home or jogging in the park. They also come with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for daily use and workouts.

In terms of connectivity, the earbuds support Bluetooth v5.4 and are compatible with a range of audio codecs, including AAC, SBC, and Samsung’s Scalable Codec. This ensures a stable connection and high-quality audio transmission. For users within the Galaxy ecosystem, features like Auto Switch and Samsung Find make life easier. Auto Switch allows the earbuds to smoothly shift their connection between your Galaxy smartphone and tablet, while Samsung Find helps you track them down if you ever misplace them.
Perhaps most impressively, the Galaxy Buds Core boasts the longest battery life in the entire Galaxy Buds family. They are capable of providing up to 35 hours of total playtime with the charging case when ANC is turned off. Even with ANC on, they can still deliver up to 20 hours of total playtime, which is more than enough to power you through your day. They also tie into Samsung’s broader Galaxy AI ecosystem, with support for the Interpreter feature that allows you to hear real-time translations on the spot.
