The new service, priced at just RM5 per month, offers a value-added layer of personal insurance/takaful coverage for users ensuring they have some peace of mind even if things go awry when parked in carparks. Users can seamlessly subscribe to ParkInsure via GOprotect, Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s digital insurance/takaful hub, with the choice of takaful from Zurich General Takaful Malaysia Berhad or conventional insurance from Allianz Malaysia Berhad.
The benefits include reimbursement for permanent disablement or accidental death up to RM70,000, snatch theft inconvenience coverage up to RM1,500, and reimbursement for forcible car break-ins up to RM1,500. Users will also receive a key reimbursement fee of up to RM200 in case of lost or damaged car keys during the coverage period.
