Both SAFEQ CloudPro and SAFEQ Breeze securely and effortlessly manage an organization’s print infrastructure. The Y Soft Edge device offers businesses additional document security as job processing is done within the business’ own private and secure network, and only metadata travels securely to the cloud. Enea Signs Traffic Management Contract Worth USD 1.3 Million

STOCKHOLM, July 2, 2020 — Enea has signed a five-year contract for deployment of a Traffic Management platform and related software modules for acceleration and optimization with a local telecom service provider in Egypt. The minimum contract value is USD 1.3 million.

The contract includes a defined number of initial software licenses and associated services, such as integration, support, and maintenance. Software license and integration service revenues are recognized during the platform deployment project which is scheduled to occur during Q3 2020-Q1 2021. The customer has the option to purchase additional licenses in accordance with network traffic usage. Support and maintenance revenues will be recognized during the full contract period.

Palma Ceia SemiDesign Announces Sampling for PCS11ax28, New 802.11ax Transceiver

SANTA CLARA, California, June 29, 2020 —  Palma Ceia SemiDesign, a fabless semiconductor company specializing in semiconductor chips and IP for next-generation wireless connectivity, today announced the PCS11ax28, its new chip for the 802.11ax Wi-Fi standard, is now available for customer sampling.

“We are very excited at the test outcomes for the PCS11ax28, our new 802.11ax transceiver – initial testing all came back with positive results,” said James Flowers, chief operating officer of Palma Ceia SemiDesign. “The advanced feature set of the PCS11ax28 is designed to support the ever-expanding universe of applications for the Internet of Things and our customers’ accelerating initiatives. Sample supply is initially limited due to greater than expected customer demand and we are working with our global partners to expand supply.”

The 802.11ax standard, also known as Wi-Fi 6, is the newest version of the 802.11 standard for wireless network transmissions commonly referred to as Wi-Fi. It offers greater maximum data rates than earlier standards, as well as higher network capacity to support greater numbers of IoT devices. Wi-Fi 6 is backward-compatible with the previous version of the Wi-Fi standard, 802.11ac.

Highlights of the new Wi-Fi 6 chip from Palma Ceia SemiDesign include:

  • Currently available in 1×1 MIMO configuration. Availability of 2X2 and 4X4 configurations is expected to begin Q3 2020
  • Supports Wi-Fi 6 channel bandwidths 20 MHz, 40MHz and 80MHz.
  • Supports all Wi-Fi 6 modulations up to 1024-QAM.
  • Analog I/O out can enable Bluetooth over 2.4 GHz channel.
  • Extremely low power consumption, with peak RX power consumption of only 195mW for the 1×1 configuration.

LTI to Launch Accelerated Migration Program for SAP-Based Enterprises With Amazon Web Services

ZURICH, June 19, 2020 — Swiss Re Corporate Solutions announces a strategic agreement to bring LocalTapiola onto its International Programme Administration (IPA) platform. Additionally, the agreement gives the Finnish insurer access to Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ network of over 150 local offices and network partners. The collaboration supports LocalTapiola’s ambitions to grow its corporate business book by competing as lead for international programme business.

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ state-of-the-art IPA platform software enables LocalTapiola to manage and deliver structured and compliant multinational programmes to its corporate customers. IPA allows for efficient policy issuance, information management and knowledge exchange from a single online platform.

LocalTapiola will also use ONE Form, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ globally standardised property policy. ONE Form is embedded in the IPA platform, thus automating local policy issuance. As a result, LocalTapiola’s corporate customers will benefit from higher policy accuracy, increased contract certainty and faster processes.
