[next@Acer 2020]Predator Helios 300 (2020) First Look

The baby Helios for 2020 was revealed in Next@Acer. The Acer Predator Helios 300 packs plenty of punch still with the 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10750H processor paired to up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX2070 GPU. You can even get up to 32BG of RAM inside the masculine body of the Helios 300 if you so wish to.

The new Helios 300 brings with it updated specs on the display with up to 240Hz refresh rate. It also brings customisation to your fingertips with the Predator app on your smartphone allowing you to tweak and customise to fit your needs.

Next@Acer brought plenty of things to light. One of them is a cool thin and light, the Acer Swift 5. The new Acer Swift 5 packs Intel’s next gen Core i7-1065G1 that is paired to up to an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU. that also means that you get even more power for your buck. With up to 16GB of RAM too, you would not be left wanting for more speed. Of course, you still get the touch display. This time though, you have the protection of Corning’s Gorilla Glass to protect the beautiful Full HD display.

The thin and light power house is looking at on the go people looking to be productive. With everything from a touchscreen display with quick access with fingerprint unlock with Windows Hello, the Swift 5 is built to help you be productive on the go. What’s even better? Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel First Look

Next@Acer brought us the new Acer ConceptD 3 Ezel notebook PC for the creative professionals constantly on the move. This thing packs a punch with up to an Intel Core i7-10750H 10th generation Intel processor and up to an NVIDIA Quadro T1000 (ConceptD 3 Pro Ezel).

At weight starting from 1.68kg, the super flexible platform comes with either a 14-inch or 15.6-inch display that tilts around and moves as you move. With an integrated stylus, you can draw on the Pantone validated display and get accurate colours. Who says creative professionals just sit on their desks all day?

Eyes on the new Acer Swift 5

The Acer Swift 5 has just landed in the Malaysian market. The new entry in the Swift series of laptops refines the Swift 5 of last year with sleeker design, slimmer visage and more focus on productivity on-the-go. It’s also got your back, literally, weighing in at only 0.99kg.

The new Acer Swift 5 comes with specifications starting with a 10th generation Intel Core i5 paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage (PCIe SSD). A step up gets you a discreet graphics card with the NVIDIA MX250; and at the top of the line is a 10th generation Intel Core i7 with the latest Intel IRIS Plus Graphics.

The Acer Swift 5 comes with a 14-inch Full HD 1080p IPS display. The display is also touch enabled and has a 170° viewing angle. The Acer Swift 5 has a sleek silhouette with a thinness of only 14.95mm. It is also Windows Hello enabled with a fingerprint sensor. The hinge of the Swift 5 is highlighted in gold and has a little more than 150° of motion. Acer claims it has 12.5 hours of battery life, enough to last you a full working day.

The laptop comes with 2 regular USB ports, one of which is USB 3.1; 1 USB C port with USB 3.1; a 3.5mm audio jack and an HDMI port. It charges via a proprietary charging port. However, you will also able to charge the laptop through the USB-C port.

Pricing & Availability

The Swift 5 is already in the market for MYR3,699 for the Core i5 version, MYR3,999 for the Core i5 with NVIDIA MX250 and MYR4,699 for the Core i7 with Intel IRIS Plus Graphics.
