Misplacing your keys, wallet, or luggage can ruin your entire day in seconds. Samsung wants to make those stressful moments a thing of the past. The tech giant has officially announced the brand-new Samsung Galaxy SmartTag3. This upgraded tracker brings a smaller footprint, smarter finding tools, and cross-platform compatibility to help you keep tabs on what matters most. Let us take a close look at the hardware form factors and standout capabilities.
Compact Tracker Form Factor
The core device features a refined, highly portable shape designed for everyday carry. Samsung engineered the new tracker to be approximately 35% smaller by volume and 33% lighter than the previous generation. Its rounded body is finished with a sleek aluminium-decorated button that gives it a durable and premium feel. This compact size makes it easy to slip into a small bag, attach to a set of keys, slide into luggage, or secure onto a pet collar without adding unnecessary bulk.

Silicone Case Form Factor
To expand how you carry and attach your tracker, Samsung introduced official accessory options. The new Silicone Case form factor wraps securely around the device while adding a sturdy keyring. This flexible silicone build protects the tracker from everyday bumps and scratches. It lets you clip the tag effortlessly onto belt loops, backpacks, and zipper pulls, ensuring your tracker stays firmly in place wherever your daily adventures take you.
Loop Case Form Factor
Another versatile addition to the accessory lineup is the Loop Case form factor. This option provides a specialised strap design that secures the tag safely around handles, poles, thicker straps, and pet collars. It offers a tight, reliable hold for active users who need an extra layer of security when tracking travel bags, sports equipment, or outdoor gear during rough transit conditions.
Upgraded Tracking in Sleek Form
Performance and tracking intelligence received massive upgrades across the board. Bluetooth 6.0 Channel Sounding powers an enhanced Compass View that guides you toward your items from up to 60 meters away, which is three times farther than older models. As you get closer, ultra-wideband technology steps in for pinpoint precision. When your belongings travel beyond direct Bluetooth range, the vast Galaxy Find Network steps in with over 900 million participating Galaxy devices acting as secure finding nodes. Battery life is truly industry-leading, delivering up to 550 days under standard usage or up to 790 days in Power Saving Mode. For the first time, cross-OS support allows both Galaxy and iOS users to share finding features seamlessly. Furthermore, proactive Place Notification alerts you the moment a tagged item enters or leaves a designated zone.
