Google Cloud has officially launched Gemini Enterprise, a comprehensive and integrated agentic AI platform designed to be the new front door for AI in the workplace. Now available globally, including in Malaysia, the platform provides employees with an intuitive chat interface to orchestrate multi-step AI agents, empowering them to automate complex work and streamline entire workflows.

Unlike siloed AI tools or models that require significant integration work, Gemini Enterprise is a unified platform that connects an organisation’s context, workflows, and people. As explained by Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, “True transformation requires a comprehensive platform…and that’s exactly what Google Cloud has built with Gemini Enterprise.”
The platform is built on six core components. It is powered by Google’s advanced Gemini models, which serve as the brains of the system. To deliver immediate value, it includes a taskforce of pre-built Google agents for specialised jobs like deep research, idea generation, and data analysis. For users looking to automate specific processes, a no-code workbench allows anyone, from marketing to finance, to create and orchestrate their own AI agents.

Recognising that AI agents are only as good as the data they are grounded on, Gemini Enterprise securely connects to a company’s information wherever it lives, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and business applications like Salesforce and SAP. This ensures that the insights and actions are relevant and context-aware. This entire ecosystem is managed through a central governance framework that allows an organisation to visualise, secure, and audit all of its AI agents from one place.
To further enhance its capabilities, Google Cloud is introducing a new Data Science agent within Gemini Enterprise. This agent benefits data teams by automating data wrangling, accelerating detailed data exploration to identify patterns, and streamlining the development of complex AI models by generating and executing multi-step plans for training and fine-tuning.
Google Cloud is also integrating its Customer Engagement Suite directly into Gemini Enterprise. This allows businesses to build a next-generation conversational AI agent once using a no-code visual builder and deploy it across all channels, including telephony, web, and chat, with support for over 40 languages. When connected to Gemini Enterprise, these customer-facing agents can use real-time context from business systems to deliver deeper personalisation, while the organisation can manage both internal and external agents from the same central platform.

The platform is built on a principle of openness, supported by an ecosystem of over 100,000 partners and integrations with technology partners like SAP, ServiceNow, and Workday. To ensure organisations are ready for this new era, Google Cloud has also launched a comprehensive set of workforce development programs. These include Google Skills, a new free training platform with 3,000 courses; the GEAR program, an educational sprint aiming to train one million developers to build AI agents; and Delta, a new team of Google Cloud AI engineers that can be embedded side-by-side with customer teams to tackle complex challenges.
Early adopters in the Asia Pacific region, such as Abc (AirAsia brand co.), Macquarie Bank, and GovTech Singapore, are already putting Gemini Enterprise to work. Tony Fernandes, CEO of Capital A, noted that they are deploying the platform to put “intelligent, ready-to-use enterprise AI agents…into the hands of employees everywhere,” empowering them to “shift from tedious tasks to strategic impact.”
Gemini Enterprise will be available as an independent service from Google Cloud. This means that Google Workspace subscribers will need to purchase a standalone license to use Gemini Enterprise. Eligible Google Workspace subscribers will be able to benefit from discounted subscription bundles.
