Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Series in Malaysia, a new lineup of tablets designed to deliver a pro-level entertainment experience on a large screen. The series, which includes the Redmi Pad 2 Pro and the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G, is a clear statement of intent from the company to cater to users who demand immersive visuals, smooth performance, and long-lasting battery life in a versatile and value-packed device.
At the heart of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Series is a stunning 12.1-inch ultra-large 2.5K display. This expansive screen is designed to draw viewers deeper into every scene, whether they are streaming movies, playing games, or multitasking. The display, with a resolution of 2560×1600, delivers crystal-clear visuals and supports Dolby Vision for more accurate colors and a lifelike viewing experience. For a fluid and responsive feel, the screen offers an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. To ensure user comfort during extended use, the display features DC dimming and holds triple certifications from TÜV Rheinland for Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution), Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly viewing, which helps minimize eye strain in various lighting conditions.

The Redmi Pad 2 Pro Series is available in three colorways: Graphite Gray, Silver, and Lavender Purple.
- Redmi Pad 2 Pro (6GB+128GB): The RRP is RM1,299, but it has a promo price of RM999 from September 25 to October 2. The price will be RM1,099 from October 3 onwards.
- Redmi Pad 2 Pro (8GB+256GB): The RRP is RM1,399 and comes with a free Redmi Pad 2 Pro Keyboard and Smart Pen.
- Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G (8GB+256GB): The RRP is RM1,799 and will be available starting October 15 with a free Redmi Pad 2 Pro Keyboard and Smart Pen.
The Redmi Pad 2 Play Bundle with 4GB+128GB is priced at RM799 and will be available from October 10. All products can be purchased from mi.com, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
