Xiaomi has unveiled its latest mid-year flagships in Malaysia with the launch of the new Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. This new series marks a bold evolution for the brand’s popular T series, pushing beyond simple performance upgrades to deliver a comprehensive experience that blends outstanding Leica co-engineered optics with cutting-edge technology and a refined flagship design. The new devices are built for a new generation of trendsetters who demand powerful mobile technology, elevated imagery, and a modern aesthetic, all within a more accessible price point.
The new Xiaomi 15T series is built for next-level imaging. Both models feature an advanced triple camera system co-engineered with Leica, designed to deliver impressive results across a wide range of scenarios. The main camera on both devices features a Leica Summilux optical lens, which captures exceptional detail and vivid colours, even in low-light environments. The Xiaomi 15T Pro, however, takes things a step further with its high-specification Light Fusion 900 image sensor, which boasts a 13.5 EV high dynamic range for enhanced clarity and tonal accuracy. The Pro model also debuts a new
Leica 5x Pro telephoto camera, offering an impressive 5x optical zoom and up to 20x Ultra Zoom for capturing distant subjects with striking clarity. For both models, a 32MP front camera is included for high-quality selfies and video calls. The camera hardware works in tandem with Xiaomi’s next-generation computational photography platform, Xiaomi AISP 2.0, which includes features like Master Portrait and Leica street photography mode for more creative and spontaneous shots.
Beyond imaging, the Xiaomi 15T series introduces a major leap in mobile connectivity. At the heart of this innovation is Xiaomi Astral Communication, a new suite of technologies that makes its global debut with this series. A key feature of this is Xiaomi Offline Communication, which enables direct voice communication between devices over distances of up to 1.9km for the Xiaomi 15T Pro and 1.3km for the Xiaomi 15T, even without a cellular or Wi-Fi signal. This adds an essential layer of reliability for users in environments where traditional networks fail, such as remote hiking trails. For stable and adaptive connectivity, Xiaomi Astral Communication also includes the Super Antenna Array and AI Smart Antenna Switching, which works to ensure strong signal strength for streaming, navigation, and gaming.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, built on a cutting-edge 3nm process, while the Xiaomi 15T features the high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra. The Xiaomi 15T series also introduces a breakthrough visual experience with the largest-ever display in Xiaomi series smartphones at 6.83 inches. The display on both models offers a vibrant 1.5K resolution, up to 3200 nits of peak brightness, and a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz for the Pro and 120Hz for the T. The devices are also built with a durable IP68 water and dust resistance certification and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which offers 100% improved scratch resistance.

The Xiaomi 15T series is now available for pre-order until October 2, 2025. General sales will begin on October 3, 2025, at all Xiaomi stores and official online platforms.
