Acer Malaysia is calling on the nation’s top esports teams to rise once more and defend that glory as the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 kicks off with the local qualifiers. Malaysian esports teams have a legacy to defend, having lifted the Predator Shield in the very first and again, in the sixth edition of the tournament. With a total RM80,000 prize pool on the line in DoTA 2 and VALORANT, this November will see the fiercest teams clash for the title of national champions.
The Hunt for National Glory
The local qualifiers are now open for registration until September 29, 2025. This is a chance for emerging and established teams to prove their mettle and compete for a significant prize pool. The Malaysian finals will be an electrifying two-day event, happening on November 15 and 16, 2025, at Sunway Pyramid. The event promises fans an action-packed weekend filled with national pride as the best teams in the country battle it out.

On the Road to India
The champions from the Malaysian qualifiers will carry the nation’s pride onto the grand stage in India next January. There, they will face off against elite teams from across 14 regions for a share of the USD 400,000 prize pool and the coveted Predator Shield. Acer Pan Asia Pacific President, Andrew Hou, emphasized that the Predator League is a cornerstone of Acer’s commitment to the gaming community, and each edition continues to raise the bar in both competition and camaraderie. For aspiring esports teams, this is a massive opportunity to gain international recognition and compete at the highest level.
