These earbuds are available in a range of stylish color options and aim to provide a versatile audio solution for everyday use. The earbuds are an update to the successful WF-C700N.
Improved Noise Cancellation and Ambient Sound Control
A key feature of the WF-C710N is its improved noise-cancelling function. The earbuds are equipped with dual microphones that work to detect and filter out surrounding noise. Sony’s Dual Noise Sensor technology utilizes these microphones to minimize external distractions, allowing listeners to immerse themselves in their music.
However, Sony also recognizes the importance of staying aware of one’s surroundings. The WF-C710N includes Ambient Sound mode, which allows users to capture and hear ambient sounds, providing a more natural listening experience and maintaining connection with the environment. The Sony Sound Connect app provides further control, enabling users to adjust the amount of ambient sound in 20 levels or use the Voice passthrough setting for easy conversations without removing the earbuds.
To further enhance the listening experience, Adaptive Sound Control is incorporated. This smart function automatically adjusts ambient sound settings based on the user’s location and activities. The earbuds can learn to recognize frequently visited places such as home, work, or the gym, and switch to the most suitable sound modes for each situation.

In terms of audio, the WF-C710N earbuds feature a 5mm driver unit and DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) processing. Sony emphasizes that this combination, along with well-balanced tuning, is designed to reproduce powerful bass and clear vocals across various music genres. The earbuds have a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20,000 Hz (44.1 kHz sampling). For personalized sound, users can tailor their sound using the EQ Custom feature within the Sony Sound Connect app.
Call Quality and Connectivity
Clear and reliable call quality is another focus of the WF-C710N earbuds. Voice pickup technology, developed with AI machine learning and trained on over 500 million voice samples, is employed to suppress ambient noise and extract the user’s voice. Precise Voice Pickup Technology controls microphones on the outside and inside of the earbud to enhance call clarity, even in noisy environments.
The WF-C710N uses Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity, with an effective range of 10 meters. Supported audio formats include SBC and AAC, and the supported profiles are A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, and HSP. Battery Life and Charging
For extended use, the WF-C710N earbuds offer a battery life of up to 30 hours with the charging case. The earbuds themselves can provide a maximum of 8.5 hours of continuous music playback with noise canceling on, or a maximum of 12 hours with noise canceling off. Quick charging is supported, providing up to 60 minutes of playback with just 5 minutes of charging. The battery charge time for the earbuds is approximately 1.5 hours, while the charging case takes about 3.5 hours to charge via USB.

Beyond the core features, the WF-C710N earbuds include touch controls for easy operation, allowing users to play, pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.
