It has been finalized that the YotaPhone 2 is finally in production stages. The Russian company was a little mean in revealing the dual screen smartphone early on in February this year at the MWC in Barcelona and then, disappearing without any other news.
Well, the silence has been broken, my friends! The YotaPhone 2 has greater specs that its predecessor and a better design. The gadget sports a 5 inch 1080 AMOLED display at the front, and that signature 4.7-inch e-paper touchscreen at the back for basic tasks and alerts. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 800 processor mated with 32GB worth of internal storage. Camera wise, the YotaPhone 2 will be equipped with a main back 8 megapixel camera and a front 2 megapixel shooter.
The company has tweeted that the gadget will be launching by the end of the year at an event in London!
The YotaPhone 2 is already available on online stores in a couple of European markets, India and Malaysia. Now, however, the device is set to launch in Europe this months for about USD$612 (MYR). There isn’t any news on a launch in America but plans for an early 2015 release in Asia-Pacific, Canada and Latin America is in the works! Are you excited to finally get your hands on this device?
