Xiaomi’s high-end phablet; Mi Note and Mi Note Pro is set to be launched to the world, with the first batch of Mi Note went on sale within 3 minutes. Xiaomi’s Vice President, Hugo Barra, mentioned that the sale received over 220 million reservations but the specific number of devices sold was not revealed. Mi Note will be on sale on 3rd February (which is tomorrow) and Mi Note Pro is said to be out on March.
Mi Note offers users a 5.7-inch 1080 x 1920 IPS LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU with an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM with a 16GB/64GB internal storage, a 13MP primary camera and 4MP front camera, dual-sim with LTE connectivity and a 3000mAh battery. The Mi Note comes with MiUI 6 with Android 4.4.x KitKat out of the box.
However, the Mi Note Pro offers users a better feature; with a 5.7-inch 2K IPS LCD (1440 x 2560) that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57 CPU with an Adreno 430 GPU, 4GB RAM with a 64GB internal storage, 13MP primary camera with 4MP front camera, dual-sim with LTE connectivity and a 3090mAh battery. The Mi Note Pro comes with MiUI 6 with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
Xiaomi was blamed for copying Apple’s designs with the Mi Note and the Mi Note Pro. The curvy front and back glass with a metal frame on the sides are said to be one of Apple’s designs.
