After years and years of waiting it appears that Xiaomi has landed in Malaysia earlier today as announced on their Facebook page (Hooray!!!). The flagship; Xiaomi mi3 has become one of the most anticipated smartphones made by this Chinese firm to plenty of enthusiasts all over Asia.
Running on Android 4.3 with MIUI 5 skin, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad Core processor clocked in at 2.3GHz supported by Adreno 330 for its graphics processing, paired with a 2GB RAM it is undoubtedly a powerhouse. An impressive 5-inch Full HD1080p (441ppi) IPS Retina Display houses the front of the device while the back sports a 13 megapixel camera supported by dual LEDs capable of 1080p recording. The device is also equipped with the latest Bluetooth 4.0 technology and supports NFC. Unfortunately the 16GB capacity of the smartphone is not expandable. Keeping everything powered is a 3050mAh battery.
A superphone built to the best of specs while keeping its price point low, it might just be the answer to consumers who have always wanted a powerful high-end device while not burning a humungous hole in their own wallets. Xiaomi, with its arrival announced that they would soon be introducing and releasing their products into the market. Here’s to hoping they release the mi3 with other products in their stables.
