Xiaomi brings budget headphones to Malaysia
For all the XiaoMi lovers in Malaysia, it’s time to block Tuesday, 16 September 2014 on your calendar for another one of the tech company’s flash sale.
The Chinese manufacturer has arranged another flash sale to celebrate our Malaysia Day holiday! This time around, XiaoMi is looking to introduce the more affordable version of its in-ear piston headphones. The company is promises great audio quality for a cheaper price tag.
The premium version of the original headphones cost RM50 (USD$16). These brand new headphones will go for half the price at RM25 (USD$8). Made of plastic, the accessory is 2 grams lighter and will only be available in white. The connector is also made of nickel plated instead the original gold.
What the company didn’t change is the 1.2m length of the cable and the three middle button controls.
In addition, XiaoMi will be stocking only a limited 2000 units of the Mi 3, 5000 units of the RedMi 1S and 10,000 units of the RedMi Note. You will also be able to get more of the company’s famous power banks. But do be early and quick, as per usual, the company’s products are known to sell out within minutes.
