Oppo hasn’t been on the headlines much lately. In fact Oppo hasn’t made headlines a lot at all since it’s first smartphone. This time though they are set to make a name for themselves by introducing the world’s thinnest LTE smartphone ever with the Oppo R3. Just a little while ago we saw the Oppo N1 (not so) Mini made an appearance. If you need to be refreshed, click here. The Oppo R3 is launched alongside the Oppo N1 Mini.
Measuring at 6.3mm the Oppo R3 is thinner than any competing LTE device in the market. Other than it not having a swivelling camera, it is pretty much the same device with the Oppo N1. It packs a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400, 1280 x 720 resolution 5-inches display up front with a 5MP front facing camera, 8MP back camera, holding 8GB of internal storage with 1GB of RAM and 242o mAh battery. The smartphone would be released in China at about RMB2290 (RM1184). No word regarding its international availability so far.
