Vivo has released teaser pics of its upcoming new project – the X5 Max. As per the image above, it seems that Vivo is actually gunning to manufacture the world’s thinnest Android smartphone and hence, pushing Oppo’s newly launched R5 out of the way.
TENAA, the agency in China analogous to the FCC in the States, recently posted its certification data for the X5 Max. The dimensions it described a long side the alleged X5 Max is quite impressive – 153.9 x 78 x 4.75mm. It turns out the device is just little bit thinner as compared to the R5.
Vivo is not a well known phone maker but it does churn out some good products when it puts in the effort. We’re not going to be seeing the X5 Max in America or Europe any time soon but it might be worth keeping an eye on.
