USD$300 for an Apple iWatch
Are you excited? Cause we are! Why you ask? Don’t you know? It’s coming!
With each passing day full of reports, we can feel the presence of the Apple iWatch getting closer and closer and closer. According to reports, the earliest we are set to see it is October 2014. However, nothing is set in stone. Launch dates have yet to be announced, the existence of such a device is yet to be confirmed. UBS, an investment firm has stated that if Apple officially launches the iWatch, it would sell an estimated about 21 million units in 2015 and 36 million units in 2016. UBS further stated it believes that Apple will retail the device for $3oo (RM 980) per unit. Steven Milunovich, an analyst pointed out that the iWatch might do better than the iPad as it appeals to a larger market. However, it’s down side is that it’s a wearable.
Honestly, in my personal opinion, the Apple iWatch would appeal to the younger generation and would be a safer choice. It’s not only trendy but who really want to keep carrying a big device in their pocket or handbags when everything is in their watch? It’s like killing 2 birds with one stone. You carry only one thing which does everything!
