Updates for Spotify
Spotify is one the best music streaming services in the world. With version 2.0, Spotify brings some performance improvements and improved notification features. Another feature is called the “Touch Preview” which allows users to discover music by touching and holding on an album cover to hear a 30 second music preview.
One of the key issues here that has been troubling many users is when listening to Spotify and an audio notification pings the device, Spotify will stop for a millisecond when the notification sound plays. Now, this issue has been fixed and the notification won’t stop the music while it’s playing. Another bug fixes is that the app will now be quicker to start compared to the last time even if there is a poor internet connection.
The 30 second music preview allows users to touch and hold on the album cover and it automatically start previewing the song with a complete minimal fade in and out. Users can also slide to the edge of the screen to scroll to songs at the bottom of the playlist. iOS users should be seeing the update rolling out by now, while Android and other platform users have to wait a bit longer as usual.
And for Android users, if you can’t wait for the update, you can download the APK and install it manually. Let us know what do you think about Spotify latest update.
