Last year saw us reviewing the Sony WH-1000XM2 here, the replacement model of the brilliant Active Noise Cancelling headphone that was released the previous year. The second generation of Sony’s Active Noise Cancelling headphones saw the Japanese brand made it even better in terms of sound quality and build quality. They packed a lot more features into the remarkable headphones too. In our review as well, it earned its place as one of our favourite headphones, a must have gadget for any travelers with the love of music.
Toward the end of last year as well, Sony released the follow-up model to the brilliant Active Noise Cancelling headphones; the Mark 3. When that launched, the only question we had was; how do you make a brilliant headphone like the WH-1000XM2 even better than it is? Sure there was some room for improvement here and there, but with the asking price we accepted it as it is and would run away with it anytime. We would recommend it to anyone.
Now, it is in our hands though. Watch out for our full review in the coming weeks as we get ourselves familiarised with the replacement of the already brilliant WH-1000XM2, the WH-1000XM3. Well, we already saw something of an improvemnt; the USB Type-C port and a slightly bigger mic opening. Meanwhile, let us see what they pack inside the box of the Sony WH-1000XM3.
