In honour of the Teacher’s Appreciation Day in the United States Google decided to announce the Classroom to go with Google Apps for Education. The application would eventually released and would be available for free. It’s designed with the convenience of teachers and students alike in mind. Teachers are able to easily create and keep track of assignments, homeworks, and students’ progress in real-time. At the same time the app would allow teachers to give direct, real-time feedbacks to individual students or to the class in general. The app’s ultimate principle is a “simple and easy-to-use educational tool, designed to give teachers more time to teach and students more time to learn. As expected Google Classroom would integrate Google Drive, Docs and of course Gmail in the whole experience. According to Google the app would be ad free when officially released. For now only a month-long preview would be available to certain individual teachers who applied for the program. Google says that the app would be available in September this year.
