AIOps Provider ScienceLogic Acquires Machine Learning Analytics Provider Zebrium to Provide At-A-Glance Root Cause Visibility

RESTON, Va., Oct. 12, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Moving toward its goal of freeing up resources of enterprise IT teams and optimizing digital experiences, AIOps and hybrid-cloud IT management provider ScienceLogic has acquired machine learning analytics firm Zebrium to automatically find the root cause of complex, modern (i.e., containerized, cloud-native) application problems. This partnership drastically reduces the time it takes to identify, diagnose and resolve business-service impacting issues, lowering IT costs and delivering superior customer and employee experiences.

How? With this acquisition, ScienceLogic is combining its AIOps capabilities with the root-cause analysis (RCA) technology of Zebrium to provide enterprises with the ability to comprehensively understand their IT estate, from endpoint devices to SaaS and cloud environments. The solution provides powerful machine learning analytics that draw on both real-time and historical data for a contextual understanding of the service impact and root cause when issues arise so they can be automatically remediated.

“We understand that at the end of the day, customers care about a few core things. Among those are making sense of drastically increased amounts of data, maintaining a quick time to resolution, and focusing on customer experience,” says Mike Nappi, CPO at ScienceLogic. “Combining our capabilities with that of Zebrium creates a whole new level of analytics-driven insights and automation we can bring to bear for our customers.”

“This partnership means that ITOps and DevOps teams will have the breathing room to commit time, energy, and resources to improving and supporting infrastructure and analytics standards, all while cutting IT costs,” said Ajay Singh, CEO at Zebrium. “With our machine learning capabilities combined with ScienceLogic’s service context and automation, organizations can greatly reduce the time they spend identifying and remediating issues.”

“The Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) spends thousands of hours each month analyzing software logs to find the root cause of customer incidents,” said Koree Mires, Director, Global TAC Innovation, Automation and Disruption at Cisco Systems. “We had been investigating ways to help automate this process for many years. When we came across Zebrium, we were immediately impressed. In order to validate its effectiveness, we tested RCaaS with four product lines and 192 actual customer incidents. We were astonished to find that RCaaS correctly found the root cause automatically over 95 percent of the time.”

EVERISE NAMED TO NEWSWEEK’S LIST OF THE TOP 100 MOST LOVED WORKPLACES FOR 2022

Everise is Among the Top 100 U.S. Companies Recognized for Employee Sentiment and Satisfaction for the Second Year in a Row

NEW YORK, Oct. 7, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Newsweek announced today their annual rankings for the Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® list. Everise made the list once again and was ranked #90.

The 2022 Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® are the result of a collaboration with the Best Practice Institute (BPI), a leadership development, and benchmark research company. The results were determined after surveying over 1.4 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 50 to more than 10,000. The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.

“As a result of ‘The Great Resignation,’ more companies recognize the importance of focusing on employee satisfaction to not only attract but retain top talent,” said Nancy Cooper, Global Editor in Chief, Newsweek. “The businesses on this year’s list clearly demonstrated that commitment.”

According to Louis Carter, CEO, Best Practice Institute, the companies on this list represent the best at placing love at the center of their employee’s experience. “The number of applications this year and analysis of survey data reinforces our original findings that love is the strongest predictor of the strength of a company’s culture, employee engagement, and satisfaction”, said Carter.

Everise isn’t new to the Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® list, last year the company received their first distinction. “We’re honored to be part of the list once again. At Everise we believe that great companies revolve around great people. That’s our vision and we live by it. We take pride in putting our people first, celebrating diversity, and incubating innovation. These values have been the center of our HR strategies and inspire us to continue to create a great company culture”, said Sheena Ponnappan, Chief People Officer.

How positive workers feel about their future at the company, career achievement, how much employer values align with employee values, respect at all levels, and the level of collaboration at the firm were the five critical areas measured to gauge employee sentiment. In addition, areas such as inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging, and company response and adaptability to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as return-to-office rules, were identified and analyzed in relation to the five critical areas measured.

Newsweek then conducted additional research into every company on the list, as well as the top runners up, to determine the final list of 100 companies and their ranking. (The list includes both U.S. firms and companies with a strong U.S. presence that are based overseas.)

LiveHire and CrintellTech Announce Strategic Integration to Automate Candidate Sourcing and Streamline the Recruiting Life-Cycle

MIAMI and CHEYENNE, Wyo., Aug. 23, 2022 /PR Newswire/ — LiveHire Ltd. (ASX: LVH), a global software-as-a-service (SaaS) Total Talent Acquisition platform that helps companies connect with and hire the talent they need, and CrintellTech, an AI-driven recruitment intelligence platform that automates candidate sourcing, announce their strategic integration to transform the recruiting life-cycle.

Today’s market for talent is tight and sourcing talent can be one of the most time consuming parts of a recruiter’s job, accentuating the need to reach out to passive candidates in addition to active candidates in order to meet hiring needs.

Companies using LiveHire to source and hire candidates can now automate their process for sourcing and engaging with passive candidates from job board databases and professional networks by leveraging the strategic integration to CrintellTech. The CrintellTech Chrome App/Extension provides two products for the sourcing of external candidates passing them directly into LiveHire; “Eva” and “Assist”.

With “Eva”, LiveHire recruiters can pass the details of a job or sourcing requirement directly to Eva, allowing Eva’s AI to source their desired number of candidates from integrated job board profile databases and then send emails and text messages to candidates to confirm their interest in applying. Eva’s AI automatically exports candidates to LiveHire and updates their status based on their responses.

With “Assist”, recruiters can export suitable candidates they find while on job board profile databases or professional networks straight into LiveHire, assigning them to jobs and including notes about why they think the candidate is a good fit. Furthermore, Crintell Assist can save recruiters time and money by identifying candidates that have already exported to LiveHire, thereby reducing the cost of external sourcing.

Once imported into LiveHire from CrintellTech through Eva or Assist, hiring teams on LiveHire can engage with candidates by leveraging workflow automations and native two-way email and text messaging all the way through to hiring, helping hiring teams deliver award-winning candidate experiences and outstanding recruitment outcomes.

“We are excited about the LiveHire integration with Crintell Technologies and our ability to accelerate the flow of qualified candidates and recruiter productivity,” says Christy Forest, LiveHire CEO. “LiveHire’s Total Talent Acquisition Platform (ATS + CRM) paired together with CrintellTech will streamline and modernize the hiring process and ultimately deliver a better candidate experience.”

“We are excited to be a part of this strategic partnership with LiveHire. I believe our technologies complement each other and aim to bring in quality candidates and greatly improve recruiter productivity.” says Arbind Joseph M, Founder and CEO of Crintell Technologies.

Microsoft and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) have announced a new course that provides students with the skills to succeed in functional consulting.

The Graduate Certificate in Business Consulting and Technology Implementation has been co-designed by Microsoft and UTS in collaboration with leading services firms Avanade, Capgemini, and EY. The course melds technology skills with human-centric skills – like creative thinking, adaptability and emotional intelligence – to fill a growing gap in the market for business and technology consultants.

Through the graduate certificate, UTS aims to produce 1,200 graduates who can deliver solutions with Microsoft Dynamics and other platforms. The course will be delivered online and take eight to ten months to complete on a part-time basis, enabling learners to work while they study.

The first global cohort of lifelong learners will begin their studies in October 2022.

Based on forecasts by International Data Corporation, spending on customer relationship management and low-code solutions is expected to grow approximately 20% year-on-year until 2024. However, businesses may face a lack of talent – to meet demand, an estimated 286,000 additional skilled technology workers are needed over the next two years, according to the Tech Council of Australia.

Tiffany Wright, Director for Education at Microsoft Australia and New Zealand: “Organisations…are looking to grasp the huge opportunity offered by business applications, but a lack of skilled workers puts this at risk. The Graduate Certificate helps provide students with real-world skills and experience that they can put to use straight away.”

Glenn Wightwick, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Enterprise at UTS: “The Graduate Certificate… brings together the expertise of our world-class educators at UTS in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and UTS Business School, the advanced technologies of Microsoft and the valuable real-world experiences of EY, Capgemini, and Avanade. We at UTS are proud to launch this course, and excited to welcome the first cohort of students in October.”

The University of Technology (UTS) is ranked in Australia for AI Research, Computer Science and Engineering. Discover more at Virtual Open Day http://www.uts.edu.au/virtualopenday.
