Featuring eight unique zones, LG’s booth explores diverse consumer lifestyles and aesthetics with each zone representing a different, well-known American city, location or landmark, and each displaying a selection of new, cutting-edge LG appliances.

Visitors to KBIS 2023 can discover the latest premium kitchen solutions from luxury built-in brands, Signature Kitchen Suite and LG STUDIO, both of which offer the refined design and personalization options that today’s consumers want for their homes. The impressive appliance features five, powerful brass burners totaling 67,500 BTUs – including a 24,000-BTU[1] Ultra-High™ dual burner with a convertible wok grate – which is the most of any cooktop in the luxury kitchen category. Additionally, the new cooktop is available with an easy-to-clean porcelain-coated cooking surface, while the LG STUDIO kitchen package now offers customers an elegant, new handle color – rose gold – to choose from.

For hassle-free cleanup, the Signature Kitchen Suite’s PowerSteam® dishwasher can complete a full cycle in less than one hour thanks to LG’s QuadWash™ Pro and Dynamic Heat Dry™ technologies, the latter of which circulates hot air throughout the appliance’s interior. LAS VEGAS, Jan. 27, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Orbbec, a leading global 3D camera manufacturer, today announced the launch of its latest product, the Femto Mega, at CES 2023. Built in partnership with Microsoft, it is the first product of a new platform aimed at enabling easy access to 3D technology. It’s the industry’s highest resolution 3D camera with realtime streaming of processed images over ethernet or USB connections that makes it ideal for use in robotics, logistics, manufacturing, retail, healthcare and fitness solutions.

The depth camera uses Microsoft’s industry proven ToF technology for precise scene understanding over a wide 120 degrees field of view and a broad range from 0.25m to 5.5m. The 1 mega-pixel depth camera is complemented by a high performance 4K resolution RGB camera with 90 degrees’ FOV.

A built-in Nvidia Jetson Nano is used to run advanced depth vision algorithms to convert raw data to precise depth images. This eliminates the need for an external PC or compute device.

The camera can be directly connected to servers or the cloud using the Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection for both data and power. The device also has USB-C 3.2 and DC power supply connectors. A 6DOF IMU module provides orientation. The universal trigger control system provides accurate frame synchronization and uses standard ethernet cables for multi-camera and multi-sensor networks. The SDK enables easy setup and registration, and a rich set of APIs allows integration with various applications.

ZVISION Announces NVIDIA Isaac Sim Robotics Platform Support to Empower Powerful Tools for Industrial Sensing

NVIDIA Isaac Sim, a tool for robotics simulation applications and synthetic data generation, is used by robotics experts to train and test robots more efficiently, recreate realistic robot interactions within specified settings, and validate the performance in different scenarios that go beyond the real world. With Isaac Sim, companies have dramatically reduced the costs of development, testing, and data acquisition, and accelerated time-to-market for commercial deployments.

Robots can view surrounding objects more clearly, and the higher quality image like point cloud captured with an angular resolution of 0.44°x0.44°. The FoV of 140°, which is larger than the typical 120°, not only covers more wider area, but it can also detect objects in the corresponding edge area faster and sooner without adjusting the heading angle. In order to detect and identify objects more accurately in blind areas, the vertical FoV of 70° is set at 20° above and 50° below the horizontal. The ML-Xs, a MEMS long-range LiDAR with outstanding exceptional capability, also equips a 1550nm laser with effective range of 250 meters and an FoV of 120°x25°. The ultra-long range-sensing capability can accurately cover further locations and identify obstructions in the forward path. As a result, the features and performance of the ML series LiDAR model as defined by Isaac Sim simulation software will further advance the development of industrial sensing solutions.
