MissFresh Launches in Ningbo, Adding 17th City as National Expansion Gains Pace

NINGBO, China, Aug. 1, 2021 — MissFresh Limited ("MissFresh" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: MF), an innovator and leader in China’s neighborhood retail industry, has launched its Distributed Mini Warehouse-supported fast home delivery operations in Ningbo, offering a range of more than 4,300 products to be delivered in 39 minutes on average. With this latest expansion, MissFresh strengthens its Distributed Mini Warehouse (DMW) network – which integrates warehousing, sorting and distribution to streamline the retail distribution chain – in East China and now operates in 17 first- and second-tier cities.

According to the City Ranking for Business Attractiveness 2021 by the Yicai Big Data Project, Ningbo and 14 other cities were included on the "New First-tier Cities List". With a population of more than 9.4 million, there is high demand in Ningbo for convenient online shopping and fast home delivery of high-quality fresh produce and fast-moving consumer goods. MissFresh’s launch in Ningbo is in line with its strategy to continuously expand its DMW network in first- and second-tier cities. The launch will also bolster MissFresh’s East China regional supply chain and operations.

To start, MissFresh plans to open 10 DMWs in Ningbo – covering Yinzhou, Haishu and other core urban areas of the city – and provide customers with fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, live seafood, rice, noodles, grains, oil, convenience foods, and other high-quality products. These will be delivered swiftly to customers’ homes within the DMWs’ one- to three-kilometer radius. Over the next six months, MissFresh plans to open a total of about 25 DMWs in Ningbo, covering most of the city’s core areas.

Since its establishment, MissFresh has prioritized the development of its supply chains. Currently, more than 80% of the company’s products are directly sourced from the place of origin, and 100% of its fresh products are subject to strict quality inspection – this helps MissFresh to ensure that its products are the best value for its customers. At the same time, the company closely controls food safety and product quality. It is humbling that in the most challenging circumstances, people came together for MWC21. Convening this year was possible because of a commitment to innovation and the direct support of the mobile ecosystem, customers, partners, and the community – and the GSMA are very grateful. MWC21 was different from past editions. The first physical-virtual event of its kind saw executives, exhibitors and, sponsors taking in keynotes, networking, visiting exhibits and, deal-making over four days.

We had to develop new health and safety protocols and a hybrid platform but, we did it! They administered thousands of tests and expertly cared for all involved. Attendees have been complimentary of the plan, and the GSMA is grateful for the cooperation of all who attended. Focus on the local entrepreneurial startup community was front and centre with the 4YFN (Four Years from Now) programme in the heart of MWC21. E-gogo Kickstarts Partnership with Hong Kong Trade Development Council to Help Companies Expand Into Indonesia

  • Helping SMEs digitalise operations on e-commerce marketplaces

HONG KONG, July 6, 2021 — E-gogo Holdings Limited ("E-gogo"), a leading e-commerce enabler, has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council ("HKTDC") to help Hong Kong companies enter the Indonesian market via e-commerce channels.

Suning’s rural retailer Retail Cloud will open 900 new stores in Q3

Suning.com Retail Cloud will complete its layout of 10,000 stores nationwide

NANJING, China, July 5, 2021 — Suning.com (002024.SZ), China’s leading smart retail service provider and a Fortune Global 500 company owned by Suning Group, today announced its Retail Cloud (Ling Shou Yun) subsidiary will open 900 stores in the next three months, and the home furnishing store as a new store model will be the business focus in Q3.

Data from Retail Cloud Stores shows that during China’s mid-year shopping festival "618", the growth of refrigerator and washing machine products from domestic brands including Meling and Little Swan increased by more than 100% year on year, the overall growth of high-end home appliance brand Panasonic increased by 130% year on year, the year-on-year growth of domestic kichen appliances maker VATTI reached 260%.


Officially launched in July 2017, Retail Cloud is Suning’s important business sector that aims to help micro and small business merchants thrive in lower-tier cities and county-level markets in China. The 10,000th Retail Cloud store will be launched in Q3, according to the plan.
