Fusion NFT™ – a new way of investing in art and collectibles?

SINGAPORE, Sept. 12, 2021 — Not so long ago, digital artists whose artworks were posted all over social media, were frustrated that they were not earning much income from their works irrespective of the number of likes, comments and shares they got.  On the other hand, art connoisseurs/collectors have been limited in how they can trade their art pieces as auction houses where predominantly the only avenue for them to sell their collections.

With the usage of blockchain technology, NFTs (non-fungible tokens) has completely changed how art and collectibles can be bought and sold. Through NFTs, artists now have a new way to monetise their art, collectors can access a more diversified range of collectibles and investors can have access a wider pool of buyers.

While there has been news with respect to the growing interests in NFTs, this strong interest was also seen during the recent inaugural Coinllectibles™️ Fusion NFT™️ on OKEx NFT marketplace.  Within the first day of the launch, an investor paid US$100,000 (28ETH) for the Coinllectibles™️ Fusion NFT™️ Item #001 – a pair of heritage ceramics, which was almost twice the item’s valuation price.  The investor immediately placed the piece out in the secondary market and resold it at 150,000 USDT, successfully making a US$50,000 profit. The new owner then resold the iconic piece for 250,000 USDT and made a profit of about US$100,000. The collectible is currently on sale for sale for 289,000 USDT (https://www.okex.com/defi/nft/markets/detail?id=29978). As a whole, all the Fusion NFT™️ were sold out during the launch and Coinllectibles™️ saw a total sales turnover of more than US$600,000 during the first 4 days.

Observing this development, Joseph Morton from Equity.Guru commented that this could be a "game of greater fool hot potato" (https://equity.guru/2021/09/10/this-week-in-crypto-standard-regulation-edition/). While that may be the case for regular NFTs, this article takes a look at how different Fusion NFT™️ is and how Coinllectibles™️, a fully owned subsidiary of Cosmos Group Holdings Inc. (OTC: COSG), aims to add value to the collectibles market.

1.         Fusion NFTs™️ – Buyers get both the digital tokens and the physical collectible

NFTs are characterised by its feature of tokenizing items with unique blockchain-based ID tags.  Unlike regular NFTs, where buyers only get a digital asset, buyers of Fusion NFTs™️ get both the digital non-fungible tokens as well as the physical art piece.  In this way, Fusion NFT™️  buyers not only get to buy and sell the digital non-fungible tokens online, they are also able to enjoy the items in the real world.

2.         Ownership security and provenance

To make the buying and selling of Fusion NFTs™️ secure, Coinllectibles™️ has incorporated state-of-the-art 3D imaging technology to authenticate as well as provide provenance for the collectibles. This is akin to using the facial recognition function to unlock a handphone, the 3D image that is contained within the NFT will be able to authenticate ownership as well as whether the item is genuine. As added security, Coinllectibles™️ also embeds microchips to the collectible items.  Apart from all these technological protection, Fusion NFTs™️ also consists of robust documentation to provide owners with legal protection as well. All these are put together to holistically protect the interest of stakeholders, that will ultimately lead to a more secured buying/selling experience online.

3.         More than art and collectibles collection

Beyond the buying and selling of NFTs, Coinllectibles™️ aim to bring greater enjoyment to our Fusion NFT™️ owners.  Firstly, Fusion NFTs™️ owners will get to decide between taking possession of the physical collectibles or putting the items up on exhibit in the world’s first gallery for Fusion NFTs™️ at K11 MUSEA in Hong Kong. Secondly, Coinllectibles™️ is exploring the possibility of working with game producers so that Fusion NFT™️ owners will also get to enjoy the items in an online environment. While some of these initiatives are still work-in-progress, Coinllectibles™️ believes that all these additional benefits help differentiate Fusion NFTs™️ from the rest.

In conclusion, not only are NFTs attracting the attention from artists and collectors, investors are also eyeing the extensive market opportunity of this crypto art and collectibles trade. Based on Statista, the total number of NFT from Apr 2021 to Aug 2021 was more than 263,000 – which approximates to 1 NFT sold each minute. All these showcase the immense potential and profitability of NFTs being traded in the primary and secondary market.  We are still in the early days. While it is anyone’s guess how the NFT market will become, the prospects for now is extremely bright.

Evo successfully responds to e-commerce growth with Kӧrber and Locus Robotics

Sports retailer increases picking speed by 157% by deploying AMRs in just 53 days

HAMBURG, Germany and WILMINGTON, Mass., Sept. 10, 2021 — Körber and long-time strategic partner Locus Robotics, the global leader in warehouse robotics, together are enabling evo to dramatically improve ecommerce order fulfillment and productivity by deploying Locus’s autonomous mobile robot (AMR) solution alongside Kӧrber’s warehouse management system (WMS).

A LocusBot assisting one of evo's warehouse workers.
A LocusBot assisting one of evo’s warehouse workers.

"The automation solution from Locus Robotics and Körber was one of the first technologies that I have seen come into the warehouse where the team was excited from the get-go," said Chris Christiansen, Outbound Manager, evo. "The improvement of speed and efficiency is impressive, allowing us to boost productivity and efficiency ahead of the 2020 holiday season while keeping our workers safe amid COVID-19 concerns. We are also well equipped with the flexibility to scale up and down on a Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) principle."

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, evo faced serious challenges navigating rapid growth in demand at their warehouse as well as peak seasons – pushing the company to the limits of its capacity. Due to hard-to-find temporary and seasonal workers, as well as a desire for improved productivity in its fulfillment operations, evo specifically struggled to keep up with e-commerce orders. Additionally, evo had to consider COVID-related safety and social distancing guidelines while designing their work processes.

evo turned to Körber, their trusted supply chain partner since 2014. Körber had already delivered the warehouse management system (WMS) and would now provide a multi-bot warehouse automation solution with Locus that allowed the required flexibility and efficiency.

Körber and Locus implemented the AMR solution in just 53 days. This allowed evo to be ready to meet and exceed growing order volumes with zero downtime or disruption. The project started with ten robots that move independently through the warehouse, collaboratively supporting pickers by eliminating unproductive walking time and physical labor. Further, the visual imaging of the product to be picked helped accelerate pick rates.  To support peak season, evo added seven additional robots for expected higher volumes at the facility, using Locus’s innovative RaaS model. This is managed via Kӧrber’s WMS.

The deployment has resulted in a significant increase to workers’ picking speeds up from an average of 35 units per hour (UPH) with manual carts to 90 UPH with LocusBots. Some workers topped 125 UPH, an increase of more than 157 percent.

Rick Faulk, Chief Executive Officer, Locus Robotics, adds: "We are proud to partner with Körber to deploy our powerful and efficient multi-bot solution to support evo’s warehouse operations. Our purpose-built robotics solution has seamlessly addressed the needs of evo’s high-growth warehouse, now and into the future. We look forward to continuing to work with them to drive operational efficiencies and growth."

"The supply chain industry is dealing with multiple challenges, especially in times of disruption," says Bill Ryan, CEO Software North America, Körber Business Area Supply Chain. "In today’s world with increasing complexity, we’re looking to technology to solve these problems. With the new AMR solution which we were able to deploy with our partner in record time, evo is able to increase performance while providing a safe and smart working environment for the staff."

Medigate and CrowdStrike to Provide Healthcare Organizations with Unified Endpoint Security for Medical IoT Devices

Integration enables comprehensive visibility, enhanced risk management and security enforcement

BROOKLYN, N.Y., Sept. 9, 2021 — Medigate, healthcare’s Best in KLAS IoT Security Provider, today announced it has partnered with CrowdStrike, a leading provider of cloud-delivered endpoint and workload protection, to provide healthcare delivery organizations (HDOs) with the industry’s first consolidated view of threat activity and incident response capability spanning all connected assets.

With the number of medical devices connecting to a hospital’s network increasing on a daily basis, HDOs struggle to maintain visibility of the location and activity of each endpoint that a device may connect to, as well as protect and manage them. Medigate and CrowdStrike solve this challenge by streamlining security responses and improving overall network efficiency.

The CrowdStrike Falcon® platform integrates with the Medigate platform allowing HDOs to perform comprehensive risk management, anomaly detection and enhanced response. The integration provides hospitals with comprehensive visibility into all managed and unmanaged devices along with enhanced threat detection capabilities that power accurate responses.

"We’ve seen a significant number of cyber and ransomware attacks against hospitals in the past year and it will only continue to rise in the future. A hospital’s focus needs to be on patient care, rather than responding to outside threats," said Matthew Polly, vice president of Worldwide Alliances, Channels and Business Development. "Medigate’s unique focus on the healthcare IoT industry is highly effective in helping to reduce attack surfaces. With CrowdStrike and Medigate, HDOs can accurately see, detect, respond and prevent attacks across the IT and clinical landscape to keep their operations and their data – including the patient information – safe."

"Today’s HDOs face specific challenges that need specialized solutions, not only in securing their vital personnel and devices, but in creating processes that ensure the benefits of connected health. By partnering with CrowdStrike, we are delivering on this vision by empowering HDOs to detect and shut-down attacks," said Jonathan Langer, chief executive officer of Medigate. "The endpoint protections our joint solution enables positions HDOs for the safe adoption of telehealth, remote patient monitoring and other networked care initiatives."

Todd Felker, former Director of Information Security at Torrance Memorial Medical Center: "As care delivery continues to fragment, the need for a centrally managed, integrated approach to securing both clinical and non-clinical endpoints is obvious. That’s why the Medigate/CrowdStrike partnership makes so much sense. I’m sure my enthusiasm for the benefits of this partnership are shared across the industry."

For more details on the Medigate and CrowdStrike partnership, check out the "Endpoint Security for Clinical Networks" solution brief.

About Medigate
Connected devices bring complicated risks, so Medigate created a simple platform to orchestrate and augment HDO security. Medigate gives the confidence to see, secure, and manage all the devices connected to the enterprise network and turn the associated data into a powerful resource for asset management and operational efficiency. It means the end of any compromise between security and usability – put simply, it allows HDOs to connect with confidence.

DALLAS, LONDON and SINGAPORE, Sept. 8, 2021 — RateGain Technologies, a provider of SaaS solutions for travel and hospitality, announced today the launch of MarketDRONE Narratives, an update to its real-time rate intelligence SaaS solution for hotels, OPTIMA. Through this update, RateGain aims to transform how revenue managers plan and tackle market volatility on an everyday basis.

On a daily basis revenue managers spend considerable time manually sourcing data and identifying critical insights that impact their market position. However, with increasing demand channels, last-minute travel plans, and the ongoing volatility, most revenue managers are pressed for time to get these insights on demand to mitigate inaccurate and incomplete analysis that drives revenue maximization.

MarketDRONE Narratives provides clear actionable insights, shared every time there is a change in the market, helping revenue and pricing managers know exactly how to position ones revenue strategies for the day to mitigate any loss of market share while increasing RevPAR.  Revenue and pricing managers will now save critical time that was earlier spent in collating and analyzing data, allowing them to take the lead in attracting more guests and increasing revenue.

Narratives are generated based on change hints using a mix of distribution and market supply data combined with competitive rate shopping data across Hotels and OTAs. It generates personalized insights using all these data points with customized thresholds for each of the hotels that they can configure to get the most relevant insights for tailoring their strategies. RateGain developed these narratives by consulting our customers, industry experts to understand insights that are most vital to make better strategies.

Over the last few years, RateGain has focused on solving the problem of collecting and providing accurate real-time data for hoteliers through updates to OPTIMA such as pricing playground and lightning refresh. However, with the volatility introduced in pricing since the pandemic, hoteliers don’t only need real-time data but also instant insights which are powered by Narratives.

Commenting on the launch, Harmeet Singh, CEO, RateGain, said, "As one of the largest aggregators of data in our industry, RateGain is committed to listening to our customers who have clearly stated the need to evolve rate intelligence solutions. Mobileum Referenced for 5G Service Assurance and Testing Vendors in 2021 Gartner ® Report Titled, “Market Trend: Expand CSPs’ Monetization With 5G, AI, Edge Compute”

Testing Requirements Vital to 5G Monetization

CUPERTINO, Calif., Sept. 7, 2021 — Mobileum Inc. ("Mobileum"), a leading global provider of analytics solutions for roaming and network services, security, risk management, testing, and monitoring, is pleased to announce that it has been referenced in the 2021 Gartner report, " Market Trend: Expand CSPs’ Monetization with 5G, AI, Edge Compute".[1] The report identifies Mobileum as a Service Assurance and Testing vendor.

As CSPs transition to 5G, there are new opportunities to leverage their 5G networks as a service, providing vertical industries, such as industrial automation, security, healthcare, and automotive, the ability to boost connectivity-enabled productivity and innovation. With advanced closed-loop service assurance mechanisms supported by testing and revenue assurance mechanisms in place, CSPs can pursue new business models, such as offering SLA-based pricing according to various levels of quality. However, this requires an integrated testing and charging monitoring solution encompassing the 5G device, radio access, and core network. Mobileum’s Active Intelligence platform is a leading telecom-focused analytics technology with a robust testing infrastructure, automation capabilities, and a widespread set of network interfaces that allows for an active-passive testing and monitoring approach required to support 5G SLA-based business models.

"Due to the nature of dynamic provisioning and the scaling of network capacity and resources brought on by 5G, it’s more important than ever for CSPs to ensure that the quality of service delivered is meeting SLAs and the charges for those services are accurate. We are pleased to have been included in this Gartner report as a company providing this critical business support," stated Ron Haberman, Chief Product Officer at Mobileum.

Mobileum’s Testing and Monitoring and Risk Management solutions provide the service and connectivity customer experience monitoring required to support B2B and B2B2X business models. The in-depth portfolio provides the automation framework and performance intelligence necessary for CSPs to understand the domestic network experience spanning 5G, IoT and eSIM, mobile money, video, emergency service, IMS, voice, data and messaging, core network, to the smartphone and app experience. In addition, it is supporting CSPs across the world to test and monitor the international network experience for their roaming, IoT and connected cars, VoLTE roaming, and international Carrier customers. Recently, Mobileum announced that Audi (AUDVF) is deploying Mobileum’s Connected Car Testing solution to test and monitor the end-to-end quality of service (QoS) of their connected cars and ensure the highest service assurance standards and control over customer experience.

EcoFlow Launches DELTA mini Portable Power Station

Perfect outdoor or worksite battery that powers 90% of devices and charges in an hour

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 5, 2021 — EcoFlow, a portable power and renewable energy solutions company, today launched the DELTA mini portable power station on HSN, the Home Shopping Network. Designed for outdoor recreation and for work backup for users who work outside or in places that lack convenient power access, the indoor/outdoor DELTA mini can power 90% of devices and appliances and be recharged from 0% to 80% in one hour.

The DELTA mini debuts today on HSN at a discounted price for the HSN Today’s Special (24 hours only) and will be available at EcoFlow’s website following that.

"The DELTA mini is the smallest – and therefore, most portable and affordable – of EcoFlow’s professional-grade DELTA portable power station lineup," said Thomas Chan, R&D Director at EcoFlow. "Our customers know the DELTA series is built for capacity and multiple devices, and asked for a truly portable and quiet option they could pack in their truck to take to worksites or to outdoor festivals. We answered with the DELTA mini to provide an eco-friendly alternative to noisy gas generators."

Powers 90% of devices and appliances

Able to be used indoors or outdoors, the DELTA mini can power 12 devices simultaneously via USB, DC, and AC outlets. It can power 90% of devices and appliances – like band saws, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners, microwaves, etc. – with powerful 1400W rated output, and can even support 1800W devices with the X-Boost technology.

The portable power station has an 882Wh capacity, which means that on just one charge, you could recharge a drone 12 times or a camera 38 times, or run a TV for 6 hours or an electric kettle for 0.5 hours. Though primarily designed for powering tools or recreational tech on-the-go, in a pinch, the DELTA mini can also be used for 11 hours’ worth of emergency backup power for lights, a fan, router, laptop and smartphones.

Industry-leading fast charging

Its proprietary X-Stream AC fast recharge can go 0-80% in one hour, and a full charge in 1.6 hours, at a maximum 900W through standard AC outlets. It is the fastest charging speed on the market, as comparable batteries can take three to seven hours to be fully recharged.

The DELTA mini can be charged in three ways – via AC wall outlets, car port or solar, achieving fast solar charging with 300W max input. Using a solar array, such as 1 x 400W panel or 2 x 160W solar panels, the DELTA mini can be fully recharged in four to eight hours.

Quiet and portability

With the running and recharge hum similar to the decibel level of a library or quiet coffee shop, this portable power station doesn’t distract from the task or entertainment at hand.

At a weight of 23 lb. – about the heft of a 24-pack of beer – and dimensions of a larger laptop, the DELTA mini is the lightest-weight and most portable model of EcoFlow’s DELTA series. Additionally, the DELTA mini’s smart inverter / adapter is built-in, so users don’t need to carry a standalone charger brick.

"Since home and local outdoor public spaces have become the center of activity these months, a number of local US municipalities are revisiting noise ordinances," said Chan. "Some are looking to decrease the maximum decibel level around homes and in public spaces, and typical gas generators will fall outside of these limits. PABLO AIR to Launch New York Drone Delivery PoC with EVA

INCHEON, South Korea, Sept. 3, 2021  — PABLO AIR, a company specializing in drone logistics solutions and delivery services and a member of Born2Global Centre, will take part in the development of a drone delivery service for use in the United States. As a member of a consortium led by EVA, PABLO AIR will begin its participation in an empirical project on drone delivery in New York from April, 2022. The corridor is developed by Griffiss International Airport (GIA), Thales, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) who are in the Northeast UAS Airspace Integration Research Alliance (NUAIR) Alliance. NUAIR Alliance, a nonprofit organization based in New York, supports a project that advances the UAS and AAM industries including standard development, product testing, drone integration, and real-life use-case scenarios. This venture is especially important for PABLO AIR because it essentially grants the company exclusive drone operation rights in this project.

The project will be conducted in two New York locations: GIA, in Oneida County near Rome, and in Syracuse. The project will test the safety with which cargo can be delivered via drone to its destination; PABLO AIR will load objects onto a drone to be delivered from GIA to a station in Syracuse, a distance of approximately 50 miles.

Since establishing its US branch in June, PABLO AIR has engaged in diverse R&D endeavors in Arizona and New York. The company is currently conducting a joint R&D project with EVA, a multi-purpose unmanned station manufacturer whose CEO is a former Director Business and Organization Development of Japan and Asia in Tesla; this will strengthen EVA’s existing unmanned distribution system solution for unmanned mobility delivery stations. A designer affiliated with BMW America will assist in the station’s design.

PABLO AIR’s goal is to innovate the distribution industry by providing unmanned integrated distribution systems, in which the drone is the first step. To enhance the efficiency and accessibility of the unmanned delivery system, the company has developed PAMNet, software that operates and controls an integrated version of unmanned land, air and marine mobility systems. PAMNet is recognized in the industry as a solution that can speed up the commercialization of unmanned mobility delivery/distribution solutions by optimizing the operational environment and accessibility of unmanned systems.

Kim Young-Joon, CEO of PABLO AIR, said, "This project is important as an opportunity for a Korean startup to showcase its aviation technologies in New York. We believe that the project is a turning point for PABLO AIR and will act as a stepping stone for our entrance into the American market. Moving forward, PABLO AIR will more actively strive to enter the global market with a sense of mission to benefit humankind through our technologies and services."

Glorious, A Premier Creative NFT Studio & Marketplace

GROWING LIST OF COLLABORATORS INCLUDES DAN CARTER, SIX60, RITA ANGUS (ESTATE) LISA REIHANA, NEIL FINN, DICK FRIZZELL & MORE

LAUNCHING OCTOBER 2021

AUCKLAND, New Zealand, Sept. 1, 2021 — A collective of Kiwi super-talent has joined forces to launch a game-changing creative NFT studio and marketplace called Glorious.

With an enviable line-up of creators that includes Six60, Lisa Reihana, SailGP, Neil Finn, Dan Carter, Karl Maughan, the Rita Angus Estate and Dick Frizzell; Glorious will release exclusive works of art of the highest calibre, bringing creators and collectors closer together through the power of blockchain technology.

With a fast-growing roster of elite artists already on board, Glorious is set to elevate the world of digital art with their authentic digital masterpieces, entering a realm which has seen explosive growth over the past year, with sales in excess of $2.5 billion.

Founded by a team that includes All Blacks superstar Dan Carter, leading business and innovation consultant Scott McLiver, former Solicitor General Mike Heron QC, and creative power duo Murray Thom and Tim Harper, Glorious enters the market as a legitimate way for art, sport and entertainment enthusiasts to embrace NFTs. Glorious prides itself on being an ‘artist first’ organisation.

"It is still commonplace that many artists across mediums are locked out of the future value of their work through unfair business models or contract arrangements," says Co-Founder and CEO Tim Harper.

"You only need to look at the many objections to music streaming services, for example, to understand why artists need and deserve a better deal. This is where Glorious comes in, at the forefront of this new frontier."

The Glorious approach to NFTs centres around the creation of enduring works that benefit all parties involved. For artists, that means percentage royalties in perpetuity, every time that asset changes hands. For collectors, it means access to exclusive and valuable works of art, and 100% confidence that the digital asset they own is truly authentic, truly scarce and cannot be stolen or forged.

Blockchain technology ensures that NFT works of art last forever as they suffer no degradation – and just like any other art form, they can be handed down through the generations.

With high artistic value a key tenet of Glorious, the digital collections created and released through the platform are designed to be displayed. Whether collectors prefer that to be on their smartphone, home television screens, or in a digital frame, is up to them.

Not confined to just digital works, Glorious will also present membership-based NFTs built around rights and privileges, and access to creators. Experiences could be a white-knuckle ride onboard a SailGP F50, guaranteed front row seats at a Six60 concert, or a one-on-one kicking session with an All Blacks legend.

Dan Carter made the choice to join the Glorious team after feeling inspired by what NFTs can do for athletes and their connection with fans all over the world.

"Bringing fans closer to the artists or athletes they follow is at the core of the NFT experience. Ultimately, the fans are the driving force behind all professional sport and entertainment and it’s great to be able to engage in new and innovative ways to connect with our supporters," says Dan Carter, Co-Founder of Glorious.

The team at Glorious has also unveiled Glorious Legacy, a stand-alone premium collection reserved for iconic artists and institutions – collaborators who have all earned worldwide recognition through decades of leadership and excellence in their chosen field. These masterpieces created and released through Glorious Legacy aim to celebrate, preserve and enhance their heritage and legacy.

Auckland headquartered software development house Sylo has provided the business, legal and technology expertise to found Glorious. With sustainability at the core of Glorious, the platform has been purpose-built on a proof of stake blockchain, Cennznet, a system that is 99% more energy efficient than early blockchains like Bitcoin.

"Life will never be the same," says Harper. "We look forward to connecting dedicated collectors and enthusiasts with some genuinely unique and amazing works of art and experiences as we continue to unveil Glorious this year."

Full launch is expected to be this October, with a further line-up of major international talent to be announced over the coming weeks.
