Important milestone on the path to becoming an eDiscovery Cloud Service Provider authorized to handle High Impact data for federal agencies

HERNDON, Va., Jan. 10, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Global software company Nuix (www.nuix.com | ASX:NXL) today announced Nuix Discover® for Government has been designated FedRAMP Ready, at the High security impact level, and is now listed in the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Marketplace for US federal agencies and  government contractors. 

Nuix has initiated the FedRAMP authorization process, which can take up to 12 months. Upon authorization, federal agencies will be able to use Nuix Discover for Government to process and store their most sensitive unclassified data.

The FedRAMP High Impact level is required for agencies that handle the government’s most sensitive, unclassified data in cloud computing environments. This includes systems where loss of confidentiality, integrity or availability could have a severe or catastrophic adverse effect on organizational operations, organizational assets or individuals.

ZVISION Announces NVIDIA Isaac Sim Robotics Platform Support to Empower Powerful Tools for Industrial Sensing

The ultra-long range-sensing capability can accurately cover further locations and identify obstructions in the forward path. Anycubic Holds Printing Camps with Yale Funbotics to Introduce Children to the World of 3D Printers

The company’s first education incubation project was held in collaboration with Yale Funbotics, with the aim of introducing 3D printing to children and how to build and use Anycubic 3D printers. The printing camp was also held in July and October and gave children an introduction to the world of 3D printers, an understanding of how a 3D printer works, and a general overview of 3D modeling, slicing, and 3D printer operations.

The Anycubic X Yale Funbotics 3D Modelling Printing Camps were designed for 4th to 12th-grade students. All the camps ran virtually over Zoom, and each lasted for three days. On the first day, the students were taught to assemble their 3D printers, the Anycubic Kobra, which is auto-leveling and beginner-friendly. After this assembling process, students were able to gain a deeper understanding of how a 3D printer works.

The next day, the printing camp students learned how to model designs in CAD. In this section, mentors guided the students on how to design basic objects, how to slice and print their objects, and helping them solve problems as they came up. By learning how to model more complex items, the children learned that designing is an iterative process and continuous adjusting and troubleshooting is part of the design process.

On the last day, students learned how to slice, print, and troubleshoot their own models. This class showed the children how troubleshooting is part of the design process, and that when a print doesn’t work, it doesn’t constitute a failure but is simply a normal part of learning about 3D printers. This motivated students to try again – tweaking the measurements of the design, adding more support, and adjusting the printing temperature – increasing their satisfaction when the print does eventually work.

Yale Funbotics is a non-profit organization that was founded to provide the resources, technology, and opportunities for under-represented youth to ignite their passion about STEM. Most vehicles are equipped with ‘distributed control architectures’, where dozens of electronic controllers function individually to provide mobility solutions. In this form of architecture, application of new software is much restricted due to each controller’s hardware-related constraints and other complex interrelations. To address this problem, diverse attempts are being made to integrate multiple electronic controllers on the next-generation automotive architecture. This phenomenon can be observed in DCU(Domain Control Unit), which integrates controllers of different functions, as well as in Z-ECU(Zonal Electronic Control Unit) which integrate controllers of different zones regardless of  Functions and Zones. Building upon the successful commercialization of DCU for autonomous driving, HL Klemove, in collaboration with Sonatus, plans to accelerate the development of next-generation automotive architecture technologies, including Z-ECU.

A vast amount of data is required to operate mobility solutions. Given that, stable data communication in a vehicle is an essential requirement for controller integration—the biggest reason for HL Klemove’s partnership with Sonatus. Sonatus not only possesses a high-quality communication platform, but it also succeeded in commercialization of vehicle communication controls, such as *CCU(Central Communication Unit). The two companies plan to focus on developing next-generation integrated control platforms; a prerequisite for realizing future vehicles such as SDV(Software-Defined Vehicles).
