Senmiao Technology Announces Signing of Agreement for Additional Online Ride-hailing Vehicle and Driver Resources in Guangzhou

CHENGDU, China, Sept. 27, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Senmiao Technology Limited (“Senmiao” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: AIHS), a financing and servicing company focusing on the online ride-hailing industry in China as well as an operator of its own online ride-hailing platform, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Chengdu Xixingtianxia Technology Co., Ltd. (“XXTX”) has signed an agreement with Guangzhou Baishi Haoyun Automobile Leasing Services Ltd. (“Baishi Haoyun”), a leading automobile leasing company that has operated locally in Guangzhou for 20 years.

Similar to the recently announced agreement with Chengdu Rongcheng Yueda Technology Ltd., Baishi Haoyun will utilize Senmiao’s online ride-hailing platform to provide ride-hailing services by appointment in Guangzhou, using its own vehicle and driver resources while remaining in compliance with relevant regulations. Baishi Haoyun will be responsible for the management services of its own drivers. Senmiao will assign online ride orders to Baishi Haoyun’s drivers and provide real-time information including service types and prices. Senmiao will pay commission fees to Baishi Haoyun on a monthly basis, which are based on fares collected from customers. The partnership commenced in August 2022 for a term through August 2, 2023, subject to agreement renewal or early termination.

Geek+ provides smart automation to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning specialist OEG

HESSISCH OLDENDORF, Germany, Sept. 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Geek+, the global leader in autonomous mobile robots, has deployed over 150 goods-to-person robots at OEG’s warehouse in northwestern Germany. The solution Geek+ developed for OEG, which uses P800 picking robots and custom-made shelving, was implemented in just three months without any interruption to OEG’s operations.

The OEG warehouse in Hessisch Oldendorf stores over 80 000 different spare parts and accessories for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and supplies wholesalers and manufacturers in Germany, as well as international markets. OEG has a wide array of specialized products that require unique storage solutions. The company has designed shelves that match SKUs of all sizes to the greatest possible extent. The unique nature of these specialized storage units posed no obstactle for Geek+’s flexible autonomous mobile robots, with 15,000m2 of the site now operated by the fleet of Geek+ AMRs.

Geek+’s engineers studied the operations within OEG’s warehouse and devised an implementation program that caused a minimum of disruption to the site’s processes and operations. Despite the introduction of revolutionary automation technology, virtually no changes in material flows was necessary. As a result, the solution was implemented in phases without disruption to OEG’s business, and was fully operational in just three months.

CIMC teams up with JD to enhance supplies purchasing, logistics services

Based on those complementary advantages, the two can work together to further enhance their logistics technology and services, they said.

In addition, CIMC and JD will also carry out cooperation in other fields, such as digitalization, enterprise operation services, application of clean energy equipment, cold chain industry solutions, etc.

VVDN Inks Contract with C-DAC to Manufacture India’s first indigenously designed HPC server


GURUGRAM, India, July 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — VVDN Technologies, a global provider of engineering, manufacturing and digital services and solutions, today announced that it has signed a contract with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a premier R&D organization of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), for manufacturing of India’s first indigenously designed High Performance Computing (HPC) servers ‘RUDRA,’ in presence of the Hon’ble MeitY Secretary, Shri Alkesh Kumar Sharma.

The ‘RUDRA’ HPC servers, designed by C-DAC, will be manufactured by VVDN under National Supercomputing Mission and is planned to be used in C-DAC’s ‘PARAM’ series of Supercomputers. A wide spectrum of sectors, including High Performance Computing (HPC) systems, hyperscale data centres, edge computing, banking & commerce, manufacturing, oil & gas industry and healthcare, can benefit from the indigenously-built server.

VVDN has established a complete manufacturing set up with SMT lines capable of handling board sizes up to 850 mm x 560 mm. The company also has a big mechanical infrastructure with tooling and injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, dedicated assembly lines, robust testing, validation and reliability set up.
