This second collaboration between Olay and Shopee builds on the previous success of Olay’s regional campaign which launched the Retinol 24 product line last April. The campaign surpassed targets by almost double due to Olay and Shopee’s hyper localised marketing strategy, enabling them to reach the right audiences. Adult Fearlessly aims to ramp up Olay’s growth momentum on e-commerce with a digital-led campaign leveraging Shopee’s marketing tools and core engagement features, such as Shopee Live stream and Shopee Games.

A study on over 16,000 consumers across Asia-Pacific revealed that 58% of millennial consumers are more influenced by online brand videos when choosing brands, including decisions about beauty and skincare needs[1]. As such, Olay teamed up with Shopee to conceptualise and co-create content, such as the campaign hero video, "Fearless with your choices", to capture the attention of millennial female consumers.

Announcement of Memorandum of Understanding for a Business Alliance of 5G/AI Related Businesses

TOKYO, Oct. 5, 2020Bit One Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company" has a business alliance (hereinafter referred to as "this business alliance") with Viettel Business Solutions Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Viettel BS") for businesses related to the integration of 5G and AI technology (hereinafter referred to as "5G/ AI-related businesses"). Viettel BS and Bit One Group will be involved in (i) sales of communication equipment, design and implementation of applying AI to telecommunications networks; (ii) smart city construction – 5G and AI-based online (IoT) services; (iii) distribution of IoT equipment; (iv) trading of data and voice business; (v) the Company plans to form a business alliance for various 5G/AI-related businesses that the Company aims to lunch, such as construction and operation of Internet data centers, etc. The details of this business alliance will be negotiated between the parties and a legally binding business alliance agreement will be concluded.

Subaru Selects Veoneer to Manufacture New Generation Eyesight

STOCKHOLM, Oct. 2, 2020 — The automotive technology company Veoneer, Inc. (NYSE: VNE and SSE: VNE SDB), has partnered with Subaru to introduce the new generation EyeSight on the all-new Subaru Levorg.  Veoneer will begin producing systems for the Japan market starting later this year.     

Veoneer was selected by Subaru due to its experience in stereo vision systems and opto-mechanical design capabilities. This business is included in Veoneer’s previously announced backlog.  The new generation EyeSight hardware is a variant of Veoneer’s 4th generation stereo vision system, re-engineered to meet Subaru’s original specification. 

Subaru first introduced EyeSight in the U.S. in 2012, which has become a leading system in the automotive industry. The new generation EyeSight has two cameras mounted on a wide-baseline design allowing for better detection of pedestrians and vehicles in intersections and on curved roadways.   The system doubles the field-of-view and substantially increases the resolution over previous generations.  The system also has enhanced optical robustness and mechanical rigidity which improves detection performance while retaining a compact design package.  Integrated in the system package is a Xilinx Zynq XA processor hosting algorithms developed by Subaru.

SAN RAMON, California, Sept. 23, 2020 — Australia’s AUD2.84 billion wine export sector has recently gone live with a new SaaS licensing and approval system powered by Accela technology that will help regulate the wine export process for the burgeoning Australian wine sector.

The new Wine Australia Licensing and Approval System (WALAS) is projected to process more than 200,000 transactions from more than 3,000 wine exporters from around Australia each year. The system provides end-to-end processing and allows exporters to apply online for licenses and certificates, with greater control of their applications, including review and payment online in real-time and 24/7 access.
