Optimization of clinical trial and whole-process management of patients: Utilizing OrigiMed’s innovative medical e-platform, the two parties aim to accelerate the localization of clinical trial enrollment and evaluation of clinical studies, optimize the follow-up of patients, and facilitate the full-cycle management of patients, through scientific analysis and innovative technologies.

Development of new indications and companion diagnostic products: The two parties plan to enhance their translational study capability through artificial intelligence, machine learning model and other scientific tools, actively exploring the development of new indications, and promoting the development and commercialization process of companion diagnostic products.

Exploration of the pilot program of innovative drugs: The two parties wish to actively explore the opportunities for diversified access to innovative drugs under China’s pilot policies regarding innovative drugs and medical devices for patient benefits.

Nestle Health Science Partners with Healint to Initiate a Fully Virtual Study on Ketogenic Treatment for Migraines


SINGAPORE, Nov. 21, 2021 — Nestlé Health Science (NHSc) has initiated a study looking into the effectiveness of a ketogenic nutritional supplement in reducing migraine attacks. The fully virtual study, taking place in Quebec, Canada, is investigating the effectiveness of a ketogenic nutritional supplement developed by Nestlé in reducing the number, intensity, and duration of migraines in people with episodic migraines.

This fully virtual study has been approved for conduct in the Canadian province of Quebec, with scientific and regulatory support from the Food & Nutrition Group within Intertek Assuris and is powered by a dedicated module within the Migraine Buddy app developed by Healint. The Clinical Research Unit at Nestlé Research is managing the trial and the clinical operations activities are being executed by DIEX Recherche. This represents for Nestlé the first randomized clinical trial for central nervous system conditions to be conducted fully remotely, with no visits at the clinical site. 1

The digital platform allows participants in the province of Quebec to be screened, recruited, and tracked in real-time across the five-month study, all from a single, easy-to-use, virtual interface. Moreover, the digital aspect reduces the risk of human errors associated with traditional paper-based records and increases the speed of data capture and cleaning.

"Migraines can be seriously incapacitating for sufferers, affecting every aspect of their lives," said Stephanie Blum, Global Head of Translation Research for Nestlé Health Science. "We have seen promising evidence that by improving brain energy metabolism, for example with the use of ketones, the impact of migraines can be lessened." Considering that 75% of the migraine population is female and that prevalence peaks between the ages for 18 and 44, the burden of migraine falls most heavily on women of childbearing age. Migraine is characterized by moderate to severe   headache   and   is   often   accompanied by nausea, vomiting and photophobia.2 It has detrimental effects on daily activities, it reduces quality of life and impairs productivity with limited participation in professional, academic, and social settings.

France Fintech and Binance Announce Creation of EUR100 Million Crypto and Blockchain Initiative in France

New initiative to significantly contribute toward making France and Europe the leading global player in blockchain and crypto industry

PARIS, Nov. 4, 2021 — France FinTech, a leading non-profit association whose mission is to promote FinTech excellence in France, and Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange, today announced the launch of a EUR100 Million initiative to support the development of the French and European blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Speaking at a conference today with Cédric O, Minister of State for the Digital Transition and Electronic Communication in France at the French Ministry of Finance in Paris, Changpeng "CZ" Zhao, founder and CEO of Binance announced the launch of the initiative, called "Objective Moon", that will comprise three key cryptocurrency and blockchain innovation projects in France.

The EUR100 million initiative, which will be funded by Binance, will see the development of a Binance Research and Development hub in France, along with the creation of a Decentralized Ledger Technology (DLT) accelerator and a new online Education Programme to develop blockchain and crypto industry talent in France. Blue Hat Subsidiary Xunpusen to Provide SMS Channel Services for JD Cloud

XIAMEN, China, Oct. 8, 2021 — Blue Hat Interactive Entertainment Technology ("Blue Hat" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: BHAT), a leading communication services and Internet Data Center ("IDC") business provider and developer, and also an operator of mobile games and augmented reality ("AR") education curriculum and products in China, today announced the Company’s operating subsidiary Xunpusen Technology Co., Ltd. ("Xunpusen") has signed an agreement to provide SMS channel services for JD Cloud, a leading cloud computing brand under tech giant JD Technology Group. JD Cloud provides cloud computing services and industry solutions including public, proprietary, and hybrid cloud offerings for various global clients in the Internet, finance, transportation, and energy industries, among others.

According to the terms of the agreement, Xunpusen will be the channel and port provider for JD Cloud’s SMS channels services. Xunpusen will have legal ownership of the network SMS channel port and will provide JD Cloud with the technology and support services needed to use the port. Xunpusen will guarantee the effectiveness and legitimacy of the channel technology and services provided. The Company and JD Cloud will work closely to ensure the necessary personnel and SMS technology are in place for optimal use of Xunpusen’s channel and port services. This agreement is in effect through May 25, 2022.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Binding offtake term sheet signed between Sigma Lithium and LG Energy Solution to supply Battery Grade Sustainable Lithium Concentrate through 2027, with start of commercial delivery set for 2022.

Sigma Lithium Corporation ("Sigma Lithium") (NASDAQ: SGML) (TSX-V: SGML), dedicated to powering the next generation of electric vehicle batteries with environmentally sustainable and high-purity lithium concentrate, announced the signing of a binding term sheet for an offtake agreement on a "take or pay" basis (the "Offtake") for the sale of 6% battery-grade high purity and environmentally sustainable lithium concentrate ("Battery Grade Sustainable Lithium Concentrate") to LG Energy Solution, Ltd ("LGES"), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of advanced lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles.

The six-year LGES Offtake for Battery Grade Sustainable Lithium Concentrate scales from 60,000 tons per year in 2023 to 100,000 tons per year from 2024 to 2027 ("Guaranteed Take-or-Pay Quantity") subject to Sigma Lithium and LGES executing a mutually acceptable definitive documentation to implement the Offtake. Sigma Lithium and LGES also agreed to negotiate each year, starting in 2022, an additional optional supply of Battery Grade Sustainable Lithium ("Optional Offtake Quantity"), not otherwise committed in other Sigma Lithium offtake arrangements, as per the table below.

The purchase price for the Battery Grade Sustainable Lithium Concentrate under the Offtake will be linked to market prices for the high purity lithium hydroxide during the term of the Offtake.

The Offtake is intended to be legally binding on both Sigma Lithium and LGES, and is subject to, among other things, completion of the negotiation of definitive written agreement(s), which are to be consistent with the agreed terms contained in the binding term sheet.

ABOUT SIGMA LITHIUM

Sigma Lithium is a Canadian company developing, with an environmental sustainably ESG focused strategy, the largest hard rock lithium deposits in the Americas, located in its wholly owned Grota do Cirilo Project in Brazil (the "Project"). The Company has been producing low carbon high purity lithium concentrate at an on-site demonstration pilot plant (the "Pilot Plant") since 2018.
