As you already know, MWC is heading our way in no time. More and more rumors are reported for the HTC One M9. It is most likely that the upcoming HTC One M9 will be rivaling Samsung’s latest Galaxy S release during the MWC. It would be an interesting sight to see the competition between both companies.
HTC One M9, also known as HTC Hima, is said to be completely different from the current HTC One M8. It was reported that HTC used disguised units as a decoy, and they don’t represent the actual device itself. HTC has added that it will be different to the current M8 flagship, featuring an edge to edge display. Also, unlike the M8, M9 will have its Boom Sound Speaker to be pushed closer to the edges, with front camera positioned right in the center of the top part of the device.
With M8’s extensive leaks before its release, HTC is doing all its might to hush everything down before its debut on the big day on the eve of MWC. One of the many rumors that cloud on M9 is the cameras. Some reported that M9 will have a pair of full-res 20.7MP, which is rather hard to believe, but some said that it will have a 20.7MP back end camera and 4MP Ultrapixel camera for the front facing camera – which is more believable.
The phone’s back has been leaked as well, showcasing that the back is similar to last year’s model, but with a squarish and bigger camera. The front, as reported, will have a new design different to the M8, without the black logo bad and sleeker speaker grills near the top and bottom of the device. It also comes with the color gold as shown below!
The device is also reported by other sources that it will have a 2GHz Snapdragon 810 processor, 5-inch 1080p screen with a 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. The battery capacity is about 2900mAH, supporting Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7.
As HTC has revealed to have decoys of the devices, do take that the hardware may or may not be correct. However, with the rest of the specs, there are not much surprises if they are all true.
One thing that is confirmed, however, is that it is definitely going to be revealed on March 1st, the night before MWC. HTC UK ha released the image below, showing what to be flower petals with ‘let them share’ as the tagline in the photo, followed with ‘The New HTC One’.
Seems like HTC will reveal much more than just their first ever wearables and new devices! Stay tuned with techENT as we will give you the latest updates on the release of M9!
