Sony has been quite quiet since the launch of the Xperia Z3 but now, it seems that the company is working on something big – a damn powerful device known now as the Sony Xperia Z3X.
The Z3X was a device that lost its hype last year but has just resurfaced on the Antutu benchmark database. The handset is something that is definitely set to blow any predecessor out of the waters. The Z3X is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit Processor mated with 4 GB worth of RAM. It will feature a brand new and much more powerful Adreno 430 GPU.
The device will sport a 6.2 inch 2K display that is equipped a resolution of 2560 x 1600. The Z3X sports some serious camera hardware and when we say serious, we mean the big guns. The gadget will be featuring a 22.1 megapixel, 2/3 inch sensor camera with a wide F1.2 aperture. It may even feature Sony’s curved camera sensors. If this is true, the Z3X will be first device to be equipped with this powerful sensor.
The test unit ran on Android KitKat but we’re quite sure that Android L will be available on the phone once the end product is released.
