According to a Bloomberg report, Samsung was looking to pass on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset in its future Galaxy s6 flagship due to problems with overheating. The South Korean tech tycoon supposedly will be opting to use its own Exynos processor as an alternative.
Now, an executive from LG has explained that the G Flex 2 is not experiencing any issues with overheating even though it uses the same exact processor from Qualcomm. According to the LG vice president for mobile product planning, Woo Ram-chan even went on to explain that the Snapdragon 810 actually emit less heat than many of the other processors in the market today.
