Singapore has received an early Christmas gift from Samsung. On August 23rd, the South Korean tech company launched the Galaxy S5 4G+ variant on SingTel’s new LTE-A network. The Android smartphone is available on various plans from SingTel and will be able to receive a faster 4g+ wireless network at 300 Mbps.
The Singapore version of the Galaxy S5 will be a little special in its features. It will have a full HD display with a Qualcomm 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 chipset mated with 2 GB of RAM. It will be able to make use of the advanced LTE network offered by SingTel.
The Galaxy S5 4G+ sports a 5.1-inch Full HD resolution Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It has an IP67 rated body, fingerprint sensor, heart rate sensor, 16GB of storage, and a 2100 mAh battery inside. The Galaxy S5 4G+ will sell for prices ranging from free on contract to SGD 688 (USD 550/RM1737).
