Samsung’s WMC Promo Could Hint Galaxy S6
The month of March will see Samsung having its Unpacked event in the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Specifically on the 1st of March, 2015 Samsung, as usual will be announcing some new devices during the Unpacked event. Usually as well we can expect a new Samsung Galaxy S device to be announced or revealed in the event and coming on sale a couple of months later.
Usually we know what to expect from the line of Galaxy S phones and what not through plenty of leaks and at one point even we may know what the device might look like. Well at least that is what we can say about plenty of other manufacturers. Samsung though is not just any manufacturer, their Galaxy S3 was one of the best kept secrets in their stable of flagships and their S6 secrets are being kept just as well. We do not have much of an idea how it would look like in its final form yet as of now. Imagining that Samsung had a bad year last year as well we do expect something radical and very new for Samsung. We also note that there could be an appearance of the curved screen that we saw on the Galaxy Note Edge.
When the invitation comes out though all we see is a line that was bent two ways at the right end of it. Guesses are it is the body line of the next flagship that the manufacturer will be introducing to the world. We also think that they will name it Galaxy S6. The line that they displayed in their promo for the unpacked event though looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge’s body line. Some sites report even that this will be the S6’s Edge variant. After all there are reports that says that there may be five variants of the S6 line. Initially we thought the variants are for different carriers, we could be wrong. Then again though it could be an indication that the S6 will have curved display as one of its prominent differentiating feature. Whatever it is though we are still excited. Do watch this space as we cover the live Unpacked event in Barcelona.
