The Samsung Z1 that is powered by its very own Tizen operating system was released in India a couple of weeks ago. And it seems, the smartphone isn’t doing as well as the South Korean tech tycoon hoped.
According to a report by Reuters, the Samsung Z1 has received a cold reception in the country. Reviewers and consumers alike have been reporting that there is a lack of applications on the platform. There are many complaints about the cameras as well. Well, it looks like the USD$92 (MYR 332/IDR 5648) has not been enough to create enough hype and protection to the platform.
With such a disappointing start, Samsung might be bound to rethink its international strategy of bringing the platform to other markets.
