‘It’s mine!’ shouted the tech typhoon – Samsung.
Earlier this year, Samsung confirmed that it will be partaking in the newest trend of releasing its own version of Android Wear and it seems that the company has trademarked the name we shall call its version – Galaxy Wear. The company recently submitted an application to trademark the name at the Korean Intellectual Property Office on May 28th along with the below image.
It is most likely that Samsung will be using Android in this mysterious device and that it will be Samsung’s first official Android Wear device. Whatever this device is, the name doesn’t reveal a single thing. For all we know, it might not even be a smart watch or anything of the sort! Samsung has kept the lid sealed tightly on this little secret.
However, one thing is for certain, with Motorola and LG getting their own Android Wear devices ready, it will be indeed a delightful year for us to see the versions being released by all the tech companies. We might even have a collection of technological accessories in the form of devices! Yay for the girls like me who want to look more tech savvy!
