Samsung is at it again, this time the behemoth company is looking at expanding its tablet offerings with a new line of tablets christened the Samsung Tab S. Sound familiar? Yup, that’s right, the tablet seems to be following the naming format of Samsung’s flagship Android phone the Galaxy S series. This series marks the return of the AMOLED technology to Samsung’s tablet line and from the looks of it, may become the brand name of its higher end tablet line – aside from its “PRO” line up of devices released not too long ago. Whilst the “PRO” line up of tablets lent their design cues from the Note 3, it looks like the Samsung Tab S line is seen to take it cues from the recently released Galaxy S5.
The Samsung Tab S is rumoured to be powered by the behemoth’s own Exynos Octa Processors with 3GB RAM and equipped with a 2560×1600 display and 8 megapixel primary and 2.1 megapixel front facing cameras. It is expected to launch with Android 4.4 with the Magazine UX we’ve been seeing on Samsung’s latest tablets with 10.5-inch and 8.3-inch displays with both WiFi and 4G LTE variants.
