Club Samsung was introduced in December last year in India and was created to take care of the needs of Samsung Galaxy users in India by offering over 90 TV channels in numerous Indian dialects. For the benefit those unfamiliar with Club Samsung, its services are similar to those found in Samsung Hub which offers music, movies, videos and TV shows outside India.
Club Samsung 2.0 has been unveiled by Samsung India’s Media Solution Centre division. The application works with a number of Samsung devices which include the Korean behemoth’s Android powered Galaxy devices such as smartphones and tablets. It comes with a new improved feature that discovers the users playlist based on their mood, language and location. It also comes with a “unified player” component that allows users to play online and offline content.
Currently, it works with 14 devices but Samsung will be expanding compatibility to 33 more Galaxy gadgets in the next few months. The service is accessible via users’ Samsung account which allows up to five devices using a single account.
The service will be live starting 30th September and can be download it on Galaxy App Store.
