IFA 2014 is soon! And boy are we excited! One of the most anticipated devices from Samsung’s booth will no doubt be its first attempt in the Virtual Reality industry, the Samsung Gear VR headset. Just recently Samsung apparently have filed some patent application with the US Patent and Trademark office to trademark the Samsung Galaxy VR name and device with model number SM-R320. It is built in collaboration with Oculus, the guys behind the Oculus Rift and now owned by Facebook. Through previous leaks we also expect it to be compatible and pair-able with some of Samsung’s smartphone devices. It is rumoured to be launched in IFA but through some leaks of the production units there is definitely a higher chance of it launching alongside the most anticipated smartphone of the year, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4.
